A YouTuber named ‘Mr. Beast’ raises money to restore sight to one thousand people too poor to afford the procedure… and the Woke Left thinks that this is just awful. Wow. Steve Green brings us the story.

The writiter’s disability is that he had a radical conscience-ectomy.
Loved this episode, Steve. And the significant input from Bill and Scott.
It brought to mind how Jesus suffered from the same pathetic attitudes of the Scribes and Pharisees. “It is not lawful to work on the Sabbath. Why are you healing (man with withered hand, palsy-stricken, etc.)?” “Why are you eating with the publicans and sinners?” And other instances. Small minds and rancid hearts have always questioned the good works of others.
Because of the increased sunlight at the equator (UV Rays), there is an increased incidence of cataracts in the equatorial regions of the earth. Most charitable hospital ships etc. therefore service this area of the globe. Simple curative surgery for a lot of needy people.
Funny, I was spending time yesterday looking up online articles about “Carson King”. He’s a beer & football fan in Iowa. About three years ago he photo bombed a shot of a game crowd by displaying his “I need money for beer” sign. Got an overwhelming response. I believe it was about $11K. He decided to spend $11 for a case of Bud Light, then donated the rest of it to a children’s hospital charity that the University of Iowa supports.
It went viral. He partnered with Bud Light, who agreed to matching donations and pulled another company into this “happening”. Long story short: He and his partners raised more that $1 million for the kids!
Shortly thereafter the Des Moines Register sent one of their reporters to dig up dirt on Carson. They found that as a 16 y/o teenager Carson had published some racist social media comments. Things went downhill from there. Bud Light parted ways with Carson over this, pulled support for the charity and he was roundly condemned. Things started to look bleak for the children’s hospital fund.
Then the reporter got “checked”. It was found that this person had some profoundly ugly things to say about a lot of what are now groups with protected status when he was a teen ager. He got let go from the register. The editor that sent the reporter after Carson got roasted, but not fired. Then Streisand Effect kicked in.
Carson, without help from Bud, Light or otherwise, ended up raising almost $3M dollars for the hospital charity. This was three years ago. I don’t know where the fund is at now.
What does Carson have to do with today’s RA article? Both he and Mr. Beast appear to be straight white males. Both did newsworthy things for a good cause. Both got dragged by the left. Coincidence? Maybe, but I doubt it. Everything is political to that crowd and straight white males are currently in disfavor, so they are never allowed to be seen in a positive light.
Here are some URL’s for following Carson’s adventures.

Now that is a cool story. Thanks for sharing that with us. I wouldn’t ever have heard of Mr. Beast had the guys not done a Right Angle on him. I would never have come across the tale of triumph for good that Carson King embodies had it not been for you posting that story here.
It does wonders for the psyche knowing that good is still beating evil and to a significant degree. Thanks again.
I agree, very cool story that I had forgotten about.
The harpies on the left sure do make this old Japanese Proverb come to life.
The tallest nail is the one the hammer finds.
Especially if that nail is straight, white and male but lacking a D at the end of the description.
Thank you for this video
My wife has been disabled for 18 years now. She would give anything to have her “able-ness” back- even part of it.
God gave us all the senses and abilities so that we could more readily survive and prosper in this world that he set us against- and perhaps against us (despite the cries of “save the earth from mankind” by the climate change crowd- but that’s a different topic). And the more of these abilities we have, the better we are able to survive independently.
Modern technology has provided a lot of props for the disabled- but they only reduce this lack of independence. They will never substitute for God’s given abilities. And there are several foundations set up to help those who find themselves disabled. PVA is one. In Texas we contribute to the Lone Star Paralysis foundation- set up and supported by people like Doug English (Ex NFL star) and Bill Engvall (Comedian) who contribute their talents and contacts to help those who are disabled live a better life, and even searching for cures.
Thanks to her God-centered view on life, my wife has a great attitude. She sees a lot of ER’s and is in the hospital right now recovering from a recent lung episode. I wonder if this guy sees use of doctors as an “enabling” exercise that should be avoided. Is it better to die? Should these people he helps be forever blinded and stumbling through life dependent on the help of caregivers?
The handicap community has a term for able-bodied. They call us “temporarily able bodied” because each of us- if we live long enough will suffer from disabilities like they suffer. And we will be dependent on the care of others. As for my family- we are thankful for those who care for others enough to help them gain back some measure of independence.
Mr. Beast is a hero of modern times. There are MANY others. Most don’t ask for the limelight, but they are there.
From the malls of St. Louis, to the needle strewn flop houses of the San Francisco Tenderloin, to the Redwood and Cannibis forests of Eureka, and now to hills of the front range of Colorado….
You’ve come a long way Steve Green. This was one of your best.
This Mr. Aquino “turd in the punchbowl” is the same kind of turd that rats out a little girl running her lemonade stand because she doesn’t have a business license. Creativity, strong work ethic, and sheer determination are things that Mr. Turd can’t come to terms with because he, evidently, has none of those qualities in himself.
Wee bit of a problem…you have part 1 and part 2 on Rumble, but they are both the same video. On another note…are you going back to posting from BlueTube now, or is that a temporary situation?
There’s something I’ve been wondering about for a very long time …
Where DO you guys get those thumbnail images? They can’t be stock images because you’d have to search through thousands of images to find anything nearly so appropriate as the ones you use.
If someone is making them ‘in house’ then you have a very gifted graphics person on staff.
Bill was interested in AI text created images, maybe it was from one of those sites. I made this in about 6 tries
I don’t want to know what inputs you gave to get that. ๐
He probably started with the “Living” constitution! ๐
At least it is “insightful”.
Bald man screaming in pain needles in eyes spikes
I know you said you didn’t want to know , but, you know that I know you really want to know…..
You know?
No?
Oh….
So, Nancy Pelosi’s husband! Gotcha
Screaming in pain due to hammer strikes.
Needles in eyes, self-inflicted after having to watch Nancy shrivel up over the years.
Spike on head because Leftist believe in unicorns.
AI did a great job for you!!!
Okยน all will be tried and posted back here!
Oh my, this DeepAI.com is gruesome. Paul Pelosi hammer head screaming blood old. Oh and one for nancy
Just For Ron Swanson’s alter ego
And another Deep AI generated art. Someone please learn to code nice things instead of this….
Annnnnnnnnndddd. One for Nancy. Enjoy RSAE!
After that one, I will probably get a message from the kindly site admin to ask me to leave quickly, quietly and don’t let the door hit me on the butt on the way out…and to never return.
Oh my eyes!
Thank you, thank you. I’ll be appearing all this week on the sidewalk of the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk amusement park…..
I always find these cool. Wonder what your AI would come up with in this style?
WIL E. COYOTE style! Acme instant hole in the ground!
Thank You! This is one of your best ever. I didn’t know about this at all, so thanks for bringing it to me. I knew the Left was evil, but this takes all… Please stay alert to this stuff! It is the encouragement we normals need to not give up hope. God speed your every effort!
The base, human reaction to one’s own poverty has historically and will always be jealousy. The whole virtue signaling and victimization point scheme are nothing more than consequences of that evil. To think that this internet moron is motivated by anything but jealousy at his core is to delude oneself.
Steve – fabulous opening and closing.
Great points all.
I had never heard of Mr. Beast until the article in PJM. Nice to see someone successful really embracing the idea of not just giving back, but giving a hand up. Scott’s analogy of the crabs is great because if they had the capacity to work together they could all get out of the bucket. but they’d rather tear someone else back down to their level. Such an apt description of the scolds on the left and why communism always ends with everyone poor or shot.
Steve ~ this has to be one of your best commentaries! I am having my breakfast and unable to watch TV because the Pres. of the USA is on every channel, and would affect starting off my day in a decent mood. Some in the press would cynically call this a “feel good story.” Well, I don’t feel just “good” about this story, it has made my day, and re-affirmed that this site and you guys are quite simply the BEST at what you do. I just wished more people would become aware of that fact, and you would become rich!
Marina
Beautiful story. My 11 yr old grandson Ian is always talking about Mr. Beast, now I approve! Thanks you wonderful men. ๐๐ป
I used to be such a sweet, sweet thing
‘Til they got a hold of me
I opened doors for little old ladies
I helped the blind to see
I got no friends cause they read the papers
They can’t be seen with me
And I’m gettin’ real shot down
And I’m feeling mean
Alice!
Hey … Vincent as an advocate for not being a Leftist cur. Gotta love it.
What’s telling is that the neural pathways exist in these people with disabilities for a “proper connection” to be made. If we weren’t meant to have the ability, why does this happen, and why do we call the absence of it a disability?
In my specialty, cochlear implants can take deaf babies and allow them to hear. Their cochlea doesn’t work properly and we put an electric device in as a replacement. Viola! This is the device that allowed Rush Limbaugh to continue to broadcast. A miracle of engineering but a tell that the brain is meant to hear.
Steve, of the thousands of hours I’ve watched of you guys over the years that might have been the best opening line you’ve ever had!
Although, from “Hair of the Dog” on the old channel, Steve’s “Being President is Harrrd” in Barbie Voice was a close second for Steve Green Soundbites!
Oh man, I had forgotten about HOTD – that was one of my favorites! If memory serves, its disappearance coincided with Steve becoming a dad. I could be wrong, but it would certainly be a good reason
I also miss from those shows THE EYEBROW OF TOTAL DISDAIN!!!
THE EYEBROW OF TOTAL DISDAIN! Wow, that was then…. An occasional once a week EOTD. Steve would go into a seizure today with eyebrows going up and down every 15 seconds.
And, who could forget Steve calling out David Axlerod’s “Flopsweat” and Big Gulp moments???!!!!
Ahhhh….simpler times….
How do you react to that?
You look at them blankly. Blink twice. Shake your head, slowly. Turn on your heel, and walk away.
I prefer to laugh at them and mock them. The rage they inevitably fly into is fun to watch!
I’m with you there. Mister Bob.
Me too. Mocking idiocy is a bad habit of mine, from which I derive excessive pleasure. Sort of like pulling the wings off of intellectual flies, but more fun and flies I usually just squish at the first moment possible. Idiots are the gift that just keeps on giving.
