This needs up dating but so does everything. I’m working on a new one.

Why did Hanoi fail or did it succeed? The media and its commentators said it was about denuclearisation. Was it about ending communism, a much harder thing? Did they leave early or did the just finish earlier than expected?

They can do most things via diplomats, secure email and secure video chat. What requires a meeting without a signing?

Why can’t Trump and Kin jong-un (KJU) go public with whats really going on? Kim Jong-un must look strong not subordinate to Trump otherwise he looses his peoples ‘worship’ and can’t morph that into trust.  Trump also needs to show he can walk away when he needs to.
Ending early suited them both and ensured that Kim Jong-un’s people got elected march 10th.
His auntie and his older half brother got elected. There are media articles about their deaths two or three years ago.

I suspect that not all of the hard-line communists have been identified and dealt with. More likely retired rather than jailed, bribed or sidelined rather than executed. When that is all done the truth may come out.
Ending communism is much more important that merely removing the nuclear weapons.

Research on wikipedia:
Kim Jong-un
Kim Jong-nam
Jang Somg-Thaek and KJU’s auntie General Kim Kyong-hui

Pak Pong-ju

Kim Yong-nam

Kim Jong-il

Bill Clinton & co with Kim Jong-il.

There is a whole other essay in that picture.
Have fun.
