So, while I don’t disagree with what Bill has said, I think this misses a grand opportunity.
States have the ability to pass their own environmental laws. This demonstrates that the federal level EPA is not necessary. That each state can do their own thing. So dissolve the federal EPA.
Reminds me of Rush Limbaugh’s old “Ford Excuse” parody with it’s “optional Briggs & Straton V-2 engine”. The irony is, that the Ford Excuse only got “37 miles to the gallon”, so it wouldn’t meet the 2026 Obama emissions standard.
If Americans really wanted to be green on cars, why are hybrid and electric car sales not outpacing regular cars and trucks. The 2015 Ford C-Max electric hybrid car gets 85 mpg and this past year Ford abandoned this model because so few people were buying it.
Yeah! If more methane is being captured then less is leaking out of the ground and into the atmosphere, which means some business is making money, and us consumers are paying less for the natural gas because the supply is increasing.
