President Trump’s approval rating is up, and most Americans think he’s doing a good job with the economy. But according to a new poll, most Americans also plan to vote against Trump. Will the man who changed politics forever in 2016 fall victim to more massive change and lose in 2020 despite the strong economy. If it’s not the economy, stupid…them what is it?

Sorry, I disagree that this “poll” was just click bait. In the Army, this would be called “PSYOPS”. The object is to dispirit the Trump base, and scare Democrats to the polling place. We are going to see a lot more of this in the coming months.
This poll is completely in alignment with telling Compost readers what they want to hear.
True, Steve, it doesn’t matter who the party of evil nominates, it’s all about the brand. As long as the candidate has a “D” by their name, the party faithful will drink what Rev. Jimmy Jones tells them to drink.
“She had 30 years of Clinton 90’s credibility.” Only a Democrat would say that.
Everyone with a “D” by their name is cursed by “strong delusion.” They can’t see evil hiding in plain sight in the phrase “safe, legal and rare”, therefore, morality has no bearing on their choice for president. As long as Trump’s economic plan takes precedence, he should get four more years.
My general read of how most people vote is that it is based on who they like, which means they automatically dislike the other candidate. They may offer up vague reasons to support their choice but those reasons basically boil down to saying that the other candidate is “no good”. If what I think is untrue, then why is it so easy to flip voters?
No poll is worth much unless it screens for likely voters. Polls of registered voters aren’t very predictive, polls of adults are less so, and national political polls of adults are not much more than fodder for nightly talking head TV shows.
National Polls are worthless when the election is 50 regional events.
Scott that was a great summary of why polls are done.
Excellent point I hadn’t thought of before, that Hillary arrived atop 30 years of fluffy puff pieces .
Keep praying Bill! 🙂
