November 8 is almost here, and the men of Right Angle breakdown which mid-term election races will give you a jolt of joy over someone else’s misfortune. Use the comments below to add your own match-up schadenfreude favorite.
Right Angle is a production of our Members.
Special thanks to Zo Rachel for pinch-hitting for Bill Whittle on this week’s slate of Right Angle shows.

Have we fixed any of the election integrity issues? We still won’t win any races if we haven’t.
Agree with you pretty much. I’m hoping our Oregon races are as good as they look. We don’t get much press. I’ve heard only a few passing comments. What worries me most is our voting system. I know it will be watched closely as much as possible, but I don’t know if it’s possible to be sure it’s straight.
As a Canadian/Israeli… I pray that the Republicans totally take over… and stop your destructive administration…
Love Lake and hope for Walker and want to see the witches whitmer and hochel sent home on their broomsticks
Hey Steve. Get with the program! It’s Z-Z Top tribute week!
Sorry, this is a little lengthy. But I was feeling a good rant building up and now that it’s started, I don’t think I can stop.
If Fetterman wins, I’ll be angry with Pennsylvanians. Oz is a leftist and a squish, but at least he has a brain. It will be the duty and obligation of Republicans everywhere, to educate and force Oz to toe the proper lines, going forward. ZERO POINT ZERO! Every time I see Fetterman, my mind goes to the brilliant epilog section of the movie “Animal House” in which John Belushi and Mary Louise Weller (Mandy Pepperidge), who Blutarsky has kidnapped from the parade, are seen cruising down the road with the top down, in a stolen car, and the crawl lets us know that they will eventually become Senator and Mrs. Blutarsky.
Hochul losing the NY governor race will be awesome. Same for the vile Gretchen Whitmer in Mich. Please, NY, please, Michigan, pull your collective heads out of your collective sphincters, and send these women home where they can be useful, may they can learn some new recipes and cook dinner for their husbands. Brooklyn residents, take a lesson and send AOC home, too! She’s a Communist and an actress, in the same exact vein as Meghan Markle. She’s not a politician or a statesman (all sexist condescension used advisedly, if women want to be powerful politicians, they need to be a LOT more like Margaret Thatcher).
Beto, you WILL LOSE again, and this time, you should actually learn something from that fact. No one wants you. No one will ever want you. DOOOD, STOP RUNNING!
A Kari Lake win in Arizona and a sweep of the statewide races in Arizona will be particularly satisfying. Mark Kelly is an empty space suit. He should have defected to the Republican party long ago, and behaved as a former astronaut and military man should. Instead, no, abortions, taxes, deficit spending, propping up the corruption of the Biden family is all he’s got these days. For shame, Mark.
Seeing Nevada finally stop voting in lockstep with Democrats will be nice.
In my new state, Ron DeSantis and Marco Rubio will be getting my vote. They should win handily over the odious Val Deming, the former police woman who would become a rubber stamp for dumb-ass Democrat ideas like defunding the police and cashless bail, and even more odious Charlie Crist, the man who doesn’t even know what he stands for, except for his own power and enrichment and a generous public sector pension.
Steve Green, one long shot victory will be particularly satisfying in your (and my former) home state. If Joe O’Dea wins over the insipid Michael Bennett, I will be doing back flips.
I hope there are 55 Republican Senators come Wednesday, Nov 9.
Then, I hope we will frack like hell and produce oil and gas and QUICKLY finish the Keystone pipeline, force a few new pipelines through to bring natural gas to the Northeast, and bring down the cost of everything, because everything depends on the price of energy and fuel.
In 2024, I pray we we can get rid of the EPA, get rid of the endangerment finding, get rid of the Department of Education and the Department of Energy, as Rick Perry wanted to do. I’d go further and get rid of the NHS and the NSF. Maybe our representatives can think really big, and vote us out of the UNFCCC and IPCC, and the UN in general. These things are nothing but hair shirts. And we can end the programs of failed college loan guarantees, insuring no future Administration can bribe Americans with loan forgiveness. That might wake up the idiot university systems and get them to pull their collective heads out. Maybe we can shrink and reorganize the FBI and the DOJ and the IRS, and not waste the opportunity like we did last time. Oh, I almost forgot, we need to abolish public sector unions, too, and force all public sector workers off special retirement and pension programs, and back into the Social Security system. This might require a Constitutional Amendment, so start thinking about that.
Finally, welcome to the Republican Party, Hispanics! We’ve been waiting for you.
Rant over. VOTE!
OK- so as far as actual races- the one I’d like to see LOSE most is AOC in New York. Yah, it’s a dream- but where are we without our dreams? You could add the rest of her squad to that dream as well.
I did notice that the boundary lines for the Detroit area were redrawn this year, so maybe there’s hopes for a Tlaib loss. My mother-in-law now lives in her district, so I’ve asked her to be sure she votes properly.
The race I was most concerned with, being a Wyoming resident, was getting rid of cheney! Now all I can hope is that harriet is not just cheney 2.0!
I’m in Montana, and the race I would like to see is between Matt Rosendale, (R), and Penny Ronnning (D). I’m not only hope that Rosendale will win, but that Penny Ronning loses. I am a registered Republican and I received a text from Penny Ronnings campaign, asking me to get out and vote which, of course I will as a Republican. But what irks me about Ronning is not only do you go to her Twitter page and find out you cannot look at her posts or post anything unless you send a request to join, like she’s afraid of criticism, but on what you can see, it says that she was a community organizer. Which sends up red flags, which I mean literally. The last thing we need in Montana is a communist representing us in Congress.
I would love it if uber-leftist Governor Laura Kelly lost to Derek Schmidt in Kansas! PLEASE!!!
There are a number of candidates that I’d really like to see lose this November 8th …… but unfortunately, I live in Kaliphoney, so they aren’t going to lose!
The race I fear most is the one between the actual vote and the tally computer.
Really liked Scott’s answers. Media vs people. The media learned in 2008 that they were almost able to get lerch elected and have been riding that wave since.
My prediction is that IF the dims are not able to cheat their way to victory this time, they will dump Biden shortly after mid-terms. First- they know they can get nothing done with a republican congress, so Kamala in that seat will be fine with them. And this avoids all the information that might be revealed in an impeachment. Secondly, they need to get somebody in position for 2024- watch who they appoint as VP to see who that will be. And lastly, they also know they can dump Kamala somewhere before then as well.
The 2 races for governor in Arizona and Georgia and the Senate seats in Georgia and Pennsylvania are elections that the republicans have to win.
Steve, I’m not kidding around when I say that you want to be careful even joking that we Normals should vote “as many times as you have to.” Ricky Vaughn got investigated over a years old tweet about how Democrats are supposed to vote on Wednesday.
And as the Antifa/BLM riots vs the 1/6 Reichstag Fire showed us, when we Normals behave like Democrats the law treats us quite differently
After the last “election”, it’s going to have to be a celebration after the votes are “counted” and the lawsuits are resolved before I feel comfortable enough to relax, smile, and open a beverage.
I have a couple of buddies coming over to watch the election night returns. Both intel wonks, both retired military with one being fully retired (he took his retirement rather than take The Shot) and one now working in a government intel shop post military service. The latter has already scheduled the day after, 09 Nov., off so he can stay up as long as it takes and not be dragging ass at work the next day. I have a real popcorn machine like you see in theaters so we’ll be drinking fine whiskey, eating popcorn and smoking cigars while we watch the returns. We’ve done this every election since 2016.
The one that’s retired wore the same service uniform as yours and the one that’s still working was in my service. So the Department of the Navy is well represented.
We’re hoping this will be a celebration and prepared for it to be a wake for the Republic. Either way, we’re going to watch what happens in real time.
If elections were still something to have confidence in I have no doubt it would be a celebration. After the last election we can’t be certain of that anymore. I said at the time that the Democrats succeeded in stealing an election cycle which will only serve to encourage them to try harder. They got away with their crimes then, there’s no reason to think they don’t believe they they’re going to get away with their crimes this time too.
We know what to look for this time so watching for those things is part of the exercise.
The thing that worries me is that the Democrats seem to be totally in denial to the reality of their position. Either they’re bone stupid or they know something we don’t.
If they’re just bone stupid then it’s going to be a bloodbath. If they have some extralegal/illegal plan to win then it’s a toss up.
This election will be the tell as to whether real votes really make a difference anymore. If it’s a red tsunami then the Republic still has a chance. If it’s not then … You get the idea, I’m sure.
The thing that worries me is, “Yeah, we know what to look for” but the Democrats will always do something that you cannot even imagine. Even when there are rules, there are an infinite number of ways to cheat.
That’s true but knowing they will cheat helps us find which of the infinite ways they are using … This time.
Forewarned is forearmed. Fool me once and all that stuff.
Dems gaslight more than they tell the truth. The MSM then says “nothing to see here, move along”. It’s a wonder we ever find the ways they screw us.
Jah, a wonder but an encouragement too, for a couple reasons.
First is the obvious, there are people actually looking for this treachery and finding it. Sunlight makes the roaches scatter and is a dandy disinfectant. We probably will never catch all the cheating, there is no such thing as foolproof when it comes to this because whatever system is used can be gamed in multiple ways. The best we can hope for is to reduce the fruits of treachery to near insignificance. That’s not a new thing, it’s been going on since voting became the means of selecting political leadership.
The second reason is a canary in a coal mine scenario. As long as people look for, find and are allowed to openly expose election fraud there’s still hope of a remedy. In an actual tyranny those people would be silenced. They’d be “disappeared”. Power is always going to act against its adversaries to some degree, that’s normal human nature. The extent it dares do so is a tell.
With Big Ears Barry that action was stepped up enough to come out in the open. Where it was exposed. Biden is now daring even more of that sort of thing because Barry got away with it.
Note that I’m not saying that effective legal counteraction is a part of this canary thing. That’s more a matter of political will than it is an indicator of irredeemable, irresistible corruption. It’s enough to hear the canary sing.
When the canary drops dead we have a serious problem. If all of a sudden there are no more news items, even on un or less corrupted outlets, about election fraud — That’s when the red flare goes up.
As long as the word is getting out there’s still hope to minimize or nullify election treachery. As long as people like Dinesh D’Souza are making movies like 2000 Mules, open objections are being aired in both houses of Congress, etc. the canary hasn’t dropped dead, yet.
It’s not helpful but it’s also not the end of the world if the MSM is complicit, that has a self-correcting aspect. CNN is a great example of this. They went full retard, lost their viewership and did themselves massive financial harm. CNN is paying dearly for its duplicity.
Watch for things meant to kill the canary. If for example a Democrat administration decides to prop up CNN with tax dollars to ‘ensure the distribution of Truth’, that would be a red flag too. Something like that would be a move to counter the self-correcting mechanism of the press.
If the day comes where you can’t find any reliable information on election treachery that would mean we’ve lost. Until then we need to keep fighting as best we can. I’m not going to get into what happens after a “we’ve lost” scenario. That’s a different set of problems and a bridge we’ll have to cross if and when we come to it. Better that we do everything we can to not come to that bridge.
