Fatal Flaw
I KNEW it would happen, sooner or later! My political thought aligns with several Conservative voices: Evan Sayet, Candace Owens, the late William F. Buckley, the late Milton Friedmann, the late Ronald Reagan, and, most notably, the late Calvin Coolidge. But sometimes, my thought process goes its own way, for better or worse. And today, I got a new example of this phenomenon. Let’s dig.
First, let me state for the record: Bill Whittle is one of the finest voices of the Conservative movement, if not the very best. He articulates freedom and Constitutional principles as well as anyone alive. If you haven’t heard him on YouTube or Rumble, in programs such as ‘Firewall’, ‘Afterburner’, ‘Right Angle’, and the like, please search for them. His take on many current-day topics either challenges me to think, or gets me yelling ‘YEAH’ at his approaches. From gun rights to risk-taking to how systems work (or should work), Bill cuts past the BS and gets to the root of most matters. Pure genius, IMHO.
Second, today’s Bill Whittle video, titled ‘JUSTICE: Hillary, Epstein and Cuomo Reveal the U.S. Constitution’s Single Point of Failure’ is not only well worth the watch, but is absolutely correct—as far as it goes. He states that the failure point of the Constitution resides in the Department of Justice. Since the DOJ reports to the President (and, by extension, the FBI, too), a corrupt President can and has turned the DOJ into a political arsenal, attacking political opponents and ignoring charging political allies of the President (or whomever appointed the leaders of the DOJ). Mr. Whittle states that the only way to correct such abuse and corruption is to do away with the entire branch, and start over. On this, we agree. But this is a symptom of a disease, not the disease itself, IMHO.
Bill misses a very important point here: the President (and Congress, for that matter) shouldn’t have the abilities to run their offices illegally anyway. And if you subjectively, inconsistently, randomly, and maliciously apply the law, you are, by definition, operating illegally. The real problem: The PEOPLE have NO OVERSIGHT for these elected officials, once in office. NONE. We can vote out elected officials, but only if they are accidentally from our district or State. And we have even less control over the appointed officeholders. If one of ‘theirs’ breaks the law, they can do so KNOWING they will never be charged of a crime: see HRC, several FBI directors, Hunter Biden, and the list goes on. Exceed Constitutional authority (see: mask mandates, vaccination demands, opening up the Southern US border, etc.), there is no worry that a check or balance will stop you. I, for one, do not want to risk the miracle of electing the right President to clean up this corruption mess. Nor do I want to shrug my shoulders and admit defeat when an obviously criminal President bends or breaks every rule, just because they are of another party, or that their party happens to control enough government to avoid any recourse.
The US Constitution attempted to restrain each of the three branches of government (legislative, executive, and judicial) by pitting them as watchdogs on the other two. But all three branches have been overstepping or ignoring their Constitutional limits for decades. Relying upon them to police each other can now be listed as a categorical failure. Perhaps the Founders were expecting moral, better people to man such offices, but the reality is what we have to deal with. The real question: what are we prepared to do to correct this nonsense? Hint: a revolution was fought in 1776 for less.

Yes. This is the obvious conclusion for which I am repeatedly chastised and maligned on this site and others for even implying that it may be necessary. When the government of the people no longer represents their best interests, then it is time to replace that government by whatever means is needed — whether those means are peaceful or not. A peaceful revolution is obviously preferred; however, regardless of Creepy Joe’s contrary statements, nukes and jet fighters are unneeded to achieve that objective.
The constitution was not created in vacuum. Several times I heard the statement that it was meant for people of certain cultural and moral background. And can not be expected to work if that changes. And that change actually happened — plus there’s huge effort to change that even further.
On the other point, it should be obvious. Power comes from the people. Based on the people. If the leaders are corrupt or just bad, the people are supposed to correct that.
If instead they chose to allow whatever is done, certainly the whatever continues to be done.
It is possible that the process was begun well before the election.
This video discusses the idea.

In short government people, including some we love to hate, have been tasked by Trump with letting Biden run things to an extent but not to the point of irreversible harm; Lives lost, etc. Document everything and everyone. Let the deep state have its head and expose itself to the light. While forcing the people to see the truth and valiant politicians to stand up at local, state and federal levels. Let the left burn bright and burn out as their policies fail. Giving the people a dose of socialism good and hard.

Additionally I know Trump had everyone in the military do a short training course on military law. So they all know what an unlawful command is and the powers of the military in a political crisis. They know how to act against enemies foreign and domestic without it being a coup or martial law.
He also made subtle changes to the federal government continuity of operations instructions. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_federal_government_continuity_of_operations See the foot notes documents for 2017/18.
Trumps trade policy is still being implemented! His banking policy is actually unchanged in spite of talk. Except for the border Biden is following, or is trapped in Trumps script.
Durham and others are still active with powers that Biden’s appointees can’t block. I think they are doing much more than just investigating a few cases. Security of evidence is in their remit. If that’s the case we will not see reports; they are serving as an archive of files the left might delete.
The state houses are stepping up and repairing electoral law. The left is screaming and scheming but not succeeding. If the left don’t find some new way to do voter fraud in 2022 then they will loose the majorities in congress and many state houses. They will loose some governorships.
At that point impeachment of the president Biden, or Harris, for the crime of “elected by voter fraud” is an option. Or state decertification of the election is a possibility. Remember the Electoral collage never made a final vote it was just declared by Mike Pence. That’s a reversible action. Pence is willing to take the flack and is being called traitor but they had lost the RINO’s and so had already lost the vote late on the 6th.
Pence’s actions sets the stage for state decertification to force a recall of the electoral collage to properly decide the election without interruptions from people let into the building and pipe bombs in the offices.
In other words you may be six months into a quiet and well planed revolution.
“Durham and others are still active with powers that Biden’s appointees can’t block. I think they are doing much more than just investigating a few cases”
Indeed. Durham is COVERING UP all the FBI malpractice from the very start and continues to arrange that they get away.
Big part of the problem is the cognitive bias people apply to the world view — many just see the color of the team, and if that is checked, ignore that “their” people do exactly as the opponent.
Would be time to at least recognise that we can’t tell people from the pigs anymore way too often.
They don’t need Durham to do an FBI cover up and the lefts rhetoric about him does not match up with your interpretation. They are scared for a reason.
Well, everyone is entitled to confuse wishes with reality. Robert Barnes talked about Barr and Durham several times over the last years, and what he said matches with what actually happened then and later.
I think it would be prudent to talk about miracles only AFTER they happen.
This is probably the most optimistic perspective that I’ve read in a long time. Thanks.
The second amendment was not put there so that we the people can go duck hunting.
I suppose it depends upon who/what we the people define as a duck.
