People on the Left saying things like this, only proves what hateful and dangerous people some are. They are precisely who they claim to hate: potential socialist dictators. They make up stuff that is consistently misleading or just outright lies and then proclaim those things as facts with no supporting evidence. It seems there are few repercussions for their lies, either. Not lying is one of the stanchions of basic morality. If you lie, you have no moral standard nor any honor. You are, therefore, despicable. This inability of a psychiatrist to understand history or even reality shows the depth of delusion in which they participate, and the things they will say to gain power. The hateful threats of Rubin, who as a Jew should know all about the evils of all-powerful government, only shows what is truly in her heart. All governments are inherently evil because they are made of humans and humans are inherently flawed. The desire for power is intrinsically evil, and power always corrupts. The Founding Fathers knew this; they made this point very clearly in the Federalist Papers, which is precisely why they armed the American people. It’s why Americans will never give up their guns, because all powerful governments inevitably turn evil and oppress their subjects (they apparently do not see them as citizens). You’re dead right on that point, Bill. And if these evil haters ever get enough power to act on their socialist beliefs, there are millions of well-armed patriots willing and able to end their tyranny permanently. But the radical Left doesn’t seem to comprehend this sleeping giant they keep irritating. The only good thing I can say for Rubin is at least she is honest about their desires. And her words only give all Americans valid reason to stockpile more ammunition. If this evil ever moves from talk to action, Americans must be able and willing to say–in the words of heh fictional Arya Stark–“not today.” What goes around will come around. These Leftist love to talk violence talk as hyperbole, but there are millions on the Right, many of them combat veterans, who know far more about how to deliver violence than these Leftist pundits do, only they don’t talk about it. When action is needed they will act, not speak. I hope it is not in my lifetime, but this fight grows inevitable if we cannot reason as a people, for in the end a people only have two choices: talk peacefully or fight. That’s reality. This power of the common man to defend his rights is the true strength of the American people, allowing them to free themselves of oppressive and tyrannical government in any way required. It is built into our Constitution and it is what makes America unique. It must remain forever so, the government must work for the people, not the other way around. I find such hateful by these individuals both disturbing and refreshing. Disturbing because their words are opressingly evil, but refreshing because it also shows who the real enemies of freedom and the Constitution are. Sometimes they aren’t foreign governments, merely college professor shrinks and talking head reporters who spread lies and evil ideas. These two need to tone down that violent rhetoric lest someone take them seriously and “purge” them first. What responsible news media lets such hateful people, who don’t apparently know history or facts, speak as authorities? Answer: the kind we have.
We talk about the left overplaying the racist card, is it time to start asking what the inflation rate is on the value of the Hitler card?

And however obnoxious this may be top say, the only difference between Hitler and their normally favored mass murderers in Mao, Stalin, Castro, Guevara, etc. is that Hitler committed the unforgivable sin of making anti-Semitism unfashionable for roughly half a century
This may be a good thing. The demented left of leftists are exposing themselves for what they are. They are totally detached from reality, willing to hold any position that “feels good” without respect to what actually is. Context and facts don’t matter to his kind. They will say whatever they feel (not think) they can get away with. They are so far out, they don’t even care that their position and statement of it, will eventually make them irrelevant.
