Right Angle BACKSTAGE: 01/24/23

Your weekly dose of assorted shenanigans and hijinks made possible by you, for you.

Zo is sitting in for me this week. Stout fellow, that Zo. Your weekly dose of assorted shenanigans and hijinks made possible by you, for you. Thanks, as always, for the support.

FYI, last week’s shows were only posted on the “Bill Whittle” channel, and not the “Bill Whittle: Conservative Opinion | Humor” channel on Rumble. That may seem unimportant on the surface, but compare the number of followers on either, and I think you’ll see the problem.

You guys and your worldly things (movies)…lol. Between my work deep in the entertainment industry, and especially now knowing God’s Word, the topic of Hollow-wood films, TV, or most popular music groups, for me, is about as meaningless and empty as Joe Biden’s brain…lol.

The new M&Ms spokesperson, Maya used to do ads for laundry detergent. I haven’t watched SNL in over 25 years, so I didn’t know her. As to M&Ms candy? I prefer the almonds variety. Pretty much all of my M&Ms are now the novelty Christmas character candy tubes, or the Halloween character fans, mostly with the M&Ms mini candies.
As to VICK’s 44D always reminded me of Jägermeister.

Zo. don’t bother to go see The Whale. I went to see it under the impression that it was a story about a father trying to reconnect with his daughter before he died. It wasn’t. It was a movie about how Brenden’s homosexual lover killed himself, and it was all God’s fault!

Steve; Sudafed is “speed”, as are any decongestants. Benadryl is an antihistamine, which many people with allergies use as both a treatment for their symptoms but also use as a sleeping pill.

A book I can heartily recommend is “Emperors of Chocolate”. Talking about M&Ms and thinking the purveyors of chocolate might not have their finger on the pulse of the powerful is not giving them enough credit. The book opens in a “War Room” where they are discussing the invasion of Iraq. They knew so much about what was going to happen – ostensibly so they can have soldiers throw M&Ms to the conquered civilians – that you would have thought a 5-Star General was in charge.

It took me all of 4 episodes to determine that the goal of that show is to apply Critical Theory to the genre of the Superhero.
“People are awful, greedy, narcissistic bastards, so by extension, superheroes cannot be any better. We need to show the sheeeple that superheroes are not to be admired or emulated. There is no better human nature; everyone is as awful as us” -Hollywood
F ’em. There is goodness and nobility. Hollywood will never disabuse me of that truth. There are heroes out there, and the potential for nobility in all (okay, most) of us.
Certainly all of us who come here!
