I’ll admit that I haven’t been visiting this site on a daily basis anymore, ever since the 2020 “election”. I will never believe that a senile, corrupt piece of trash like Biden was elected in a fair and legal election, never. The truth will be exposed someday, but it’s way too late now.
The political environment in this country is so messed up and so corrupt that I’d sworn off of the subject and walked away from Fox News and this forum in order to maintain my sanity and my family life. I’ve continued to maintain my membership and my monthly donation though because I believe it’s important.
The 2022 midterm elections were a big letdown, I was sure that we’d take back the Senate and Congress and stop the Democrats in their tracks until 2024. I was amazed at how poorly the Republicans did overall, but at least we got that corrupt, hypocritical witch Pelosi out of power.
The fight over Speaker of the House was embarrassing, but at least we have a majority there. The reason I’m writing this is because of that pencil-necked, bug eyed, hypocrite Schiff and the windbag(literally) Swallwell’s whining about getting kicked off of the Intel. Committee. Seriously, these clowns don’t have any memory over what’s happened during the last 6 years? Shit(Schiff) lied to our faces for over 4 years claiming to know there’s evidence of Trump’s corruption, he just can’t release it yet. Right. Swallwell was having a fling with a Chinese spy who had access to his office, and then fled the country as soon as it became public. Right.
Swallwell has to be one of the dumbest politicians I’ve ever seen, and Schiff is a compulsive liar, yet they have the “right” to be on that committee? I loved it when MC Carthy told the reporter that if she had read the FBI report on Swallwell’s behavior, he wouldn’t be allowed on any committees.
The lack of self-awareness and hubris is mind-numbing, how can anyone be that ‘frickn arrogant?

There’s a lot to unpack. First, nobody is saying the 2020 election was free and fair, just that it’s over and certified and you don’t get to ask questions about it. This must be considered entirely separate from the 2016 election, which was still stolen, and it’s entirely reasonable to question EVERYthing about it. Second, it’s good to take time off, if only to keep from getting angry.
Third, I consider getting pelosi out of the line of succession to the Oval office worth a LOT… even if it means a squishy-soft mccarthy takes her place.
As for the struggle to seat a Speaker, I respectfully submit that this is the first time in a VERY long while that it wasn’t a mere formality and it should never be a mere formality. That’s the people’s house. That’s our voice. If “we” don’t get to discuss who runs it, why bother giving us a voice in the first place. Too, schiff and swalwell getting kicked off the intel committee was pure gold.
As for the political careerists… if they had any self-awareness,,, they would get out of congress…
