I just love watching you guys riffing off each other, it’s almost like improv.
The synaps were really flying today (when I’m watching, or today when you recorded), I could almost see the lightning flying between you three!
That’s what we’re here for, that’s why we love the Backstage shows!

I am not, in fact, familiar with the Velvet Fog. And I’ll have you know, Scott, that Private Idaho was stuck in my head for a week and a half after you introduced me to that particular experience. Girl U Want wasn’t much different.

Maladroit, huh!? Had to look that one up… and you’re right. I decided to watch/listen to you guys in full screen, and quickly decided to not to do that };-)

That was fun! Thanks.
And the special announcement toward the end –
TSL, special edition, Nov 3rd. Live with Bill / Scott / Steve. I put it on my calendar already. Looking forward to it.

Found this ep so engaging, that I’ve come to the end and noticed that I haven’t even touched my coffee.

Also, I thought I watched Thunderball too many times.

That reminds me of how we would sneak downstairs to watch Saturday Night Live after our parents had gone to bed… but that was another time, when SNL was hilariously sarcastic and whimsical and improvisational.

Even at 43, I don’t follow enough music enough so I didn’t get that Mel Torme velvet smog reference.

I also have a variety of partially NSFW kind of images, though censored enough to be similar to Steve’s t-shirt/sign image I could probably get away with posting them in a blog post here. If anyone could post a Yes/No on that idea?

You’ll enjoy that concert very much!
My wife and I went to the local symphony a few months back for a “Rat Pack” concert. The featured guy was Steve Lippia. He was nominated for a grammy in 2010 or so. From the first note, he was one of those guys.
They are out there carrying on the sound, and it puts modern “music” to shame.
