Battle tanks roll on the National Mall as Donald Trump continues the violent overthrow of the American government…or something like that. Stephen Green hits Bill Whittle and Scott Ott with the weird and wonderful stories in the news, and they react in real time. This is the 22nd Lightning Round episode of Right Angle, with seemingly no end in sight. O, the humanity!
NOTE: This episode was recorded before the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team recaptured the world title. Scott Ott, therefore, is officially declared a savant, clairvoyant, and prophet (without honor).

I don’t get soccer. I have the hardest time figuring out who the quarterback is, and they _never_ use their wide receivers.
As Ron Swanson says: “All soccer is women’s soccer.”
My favorite part of any video is when someone gets Scott to heartily laugh. I canβt help but laugh with him. π
for the soccer haters out there I give you Leo Messi. Not just the greatest soccer player of all time, the greatest athlete of all time.
Bill, might I suggest “You are in the process of committing a homicide against me, Lawrence.” Spice it up. πππ»
Hey Scott, I once saw an Amish man making cheese with a hair net on his beard. That ok? Yes, really.
Vee get too soon oldt, und too late schmart. Love. It.
Yeah, the failed drug test issue goes back to a phrase my old boss would repeat when we were on a ramp up hiring frenzy and interviewed the occasional candidate with significant issues – “Find a legal reason to not hire him.”
During Barry O’s presidency Sister Babe got us invitations via her job to an outdoor reception for the French PM, and I posted pics on Facebook. Of course, some Lefty pals chirped about why was I there when I’m constantly criticizing their messiah, blah blah. And of course, being the grownup in the room I explained how the office is bigger than the man in there and hopefully whenever Republican came back into office they’d show the same respect. They sheepishly responded that I had a point and of course they would
(Ron Howard’s “Arrested Development” narrator voice): Actually, they didn’t.
I’m running out of sports to follow.
I haven’t watched the NLF in a couple years now for a plethora of reasons. It truly saddened me that a coiled spunt would disrespect her country on the world stage for whatever virtue signaling reason she may have. As a former USWNT fan, when they had classy players like Mia Hamm, Brandi Chastain and Abby Wambach among others, I could not bring myself to turn on a single match after the first one because of the disdain I now have for the team (for allowing her shenanigans to continue) and the player.
Please, God, keep the unpatriotic idiots away from College Football (Go Buckeyes) and baseball (Go Reds)!!!
Monkey Shines was a late 80s movie about Monkeys trained to assist quadriplegics. A friend of the injured is a “scientist” who injects the monkey with human brain cells.
The results are of course tragic.
I think the monkey got smart.
Haven’t seen it in ages, but either these scientists see these horror films and go, hey what a great idea. Or they haven’t seen them at all as they are stuck in their labs in their parents’ basement.
I remember that one! It was quite frightening.
I could only watch it once, my oldest son had DMD at the time and that movie scared him.
If Rapinio swallowed her pride, she’d choke to death.
As to the monkey/human hybrid, did these scientists not watch Planet of the Apes?
Independence Day would not exist if not for the military AND we would still be sending our taxes to the Queen. I find it refreshing to see the military honored during the celebration of the day. For anybody to ask this question or comment otherwise to me shows how broken the education system is and how close we are to losing it. What do people think the fireworks represent?
New Nevada Pot law. Do the people who passed this law have any idea about some of the industry in Nevada? I sure remember this event and even though PEPCON is no longer there, I bet most business owners in general hear Scott’s message loud and clear.
Impressive Video included in article of the largest non-nuclear explosion ever on American soil.
