Do we start from scratch or do we join with some group that’s already trying to do what we want to do? Check out the Constitution Party platform at https://constitutionparty.com/assets/2016-2020_National_Platform.pdf
They are qualified to be on the ballot in 14 states.
While their focus is on the national level, our first focus is on the state level to complete phase one of restoring election integrity in each state.
Do we create our own party with a singular focus then disband once we have accomplished it? (like the Tea Party?) What do you think we would need to add to their platform if we were to start our own party? Comment below

Take a look at this strategy. https://patriotparty.info/
Political parties play by the rules. This group is seeking to change the way they operate and refuse to play by the establishments rules.
To me this is a GAMESTOP solution. Outside the traditional thinking.
Many people have spoken of this since the days of Obama. I would love to see a functional party emerge.
When the water’s already risen past your knees, that’s not the time to go cut down the trees to start building the ark.
I think starting a new party is the wrong direction to take right now for two reasons, one philosophical and the other practical. If we aim to move back to America, we have to ask ourselves, which America: Woodrow Wilson’s or James Madison’s? By that I mean, top-down centralized control or bottom-up individual liberty? As to the practical, we are losing our country right NOW – faster and more completely than any of us could’ve imagined (obviously, or we who love America wouldn’t find ourselves where we are now).
Organizing a party takes enormous time, money, and effort. Our time is extremely short, our enemies are many, diverse, and omnipresent. They already have the advantage of patiently constructed organizations backing and directing them, both within and outside of ALL LEVELS of government, that enjoy virtually unlimited funding, as well as a vast and growing swath of the people they can rely on who, to put it bluntly, they’ve trained to hate us and everything we believe.
Is all hope lost? Absolutely not! But if we want to successfully beat back the tyrants – and have no doubt that’s what they are – we’d better understand the battle space. Our enemies aim to destroy America, and America is us. They have promised to use every means necessary to do it and this past year proves they’re delivering on that promise in spades. So, do we want to set ourselves up to be the redcoats marching in formation while we get picked off by the guys hiding behind the trees? They’ve already put targets on our backs. A party puts a bigger target our our backs, diverts our meager resources, AND makes us easier to find.
Independence and lack of structure may be our greatest advantage. We cannot match the time, experience, organizational structure, and money of the enemy. Instead of spending 10 hours this week learning about your state’s confusing and expensive obstacles to a new party’s ballot access that MAY get the party on the ballot in 2 – 4 years, wouldn’t that time be better spent convincing 5 of your like-minded friends and neighbors to devote 2 hours each meeting with your town’s librarian and library board to stop drag queen story hour? Or convincing your town board you want them to open shuttered local businesses? Or urging your school boards to end mask mandates on kids that do nothing to stop the Wuhan virus but do spread strep and impetigo? Or getting an assurance from your county sheriff that he and his deputies will actively stand armed and ready between you and the feds when the feds come for your lawfully owned firearms?
In my opinion, we don’t need a distant new party, we each need to be better CITIZENS at home. We’ve been absentee landlords for far too long. Before we contemplate building a new structure, why not clear up the trash rotting the magnificent structure we’ve shamefully neglected right here in our own back yards?
So how do we do that? I highly recommend listening to this Daniel Horowitz interview with Shannon Joy on the Conservative Review podcast. She gives excellent practical advice on simple steps we can take immediately. If you don’t have time to listen to the whole thing, start at 10:45 in:

I am anxiously awaiting Bill’s idea of doing it a new way… “taking our game pieces and moving to a different board.”
Yep. The ruling class has it so locked up, employing the traditional party paradigm is futile.
Angelo Codevilla has been describing this for over a decade now, but here’s a recent Glenn Greenwald piece that describes it well (nice to see some who identify more towards the left side of the aisle brave enough to step off the reservation in pursuit of the truth):
“If you identify as a conservative and continue to believe that your prime enemies are ordinary leftists, or you identify as a leftist and believe your prime enemies are Republican citizens, you will fall perfectly into the trap set for you. Namely, you will ignore your real enemies, the ones who actually wield power at your expense: ruling class elites, who really do not care about “right v. left” and most definitely do not care about “Republican v. Democrat” — as evidenced by the fact that they fund both parties — but instead care only about one thing: stability, or preservation of the prevailing neoliberal order...
“Unlike so many ordinary citizens addicted to trivial partisan warfare, these ruling class elites know who their real enemies are: anyone who steps outside the limits and rules of the game they have crafted and who seeks to disrupt the system that preserves their prerogatives and status.” https://greenwald.substack.com/p/the-new-domestic-war-on-terror-is [emphasis added].
GAMESTOP! This needs to be our call to action. I just watched MB2A “Preoccupy Wall Street” and believe you have hit the nail on the head…we have to find a way outside of the box, move our pieces off the board, and find a way to play by another set of rules to upset the apple cart no matter if we have to blow our $600 stimulus checks.
You are right. I think we keep focusing on the wrong enemy. Our enemy is not the left but rather the “establishment”.
My only experience with the Constitution Party is their lack of response. I filled out a contact because I had a question about one area of their platform. (This was before the election.)
Never heard back. No “thank you, we’ll get back with you.” or anything. Crickets.
One would think if someone was interested in your 3rd party, you would want them on board. (?)
Thanks for trying though. One ongoing challenge for the right has always been that our organizations rely mostly on a bare-bones cadre of volunteers. The left has the luxury of billionaire’s dollars to ensure that not only do paid staff follow up with people like you who actually take the initiative to reach out, they data-mine social media to actively recruit. I pray that the dire immediacy of our circumstances proves to be a better motivator than it has been up to this point.
I don’t like the pervasive religion in the Constitution Party but, for the most part, I like their positions. Depending on how much they push Christianity vs addressing issues, they might be acceptable for what we’re trying to do.
I prefer starting a new party. Bill has settled on a name for it, The After Party. Keeping with tradition, it has an animal for a mascot, the Party Animal, an irreverent raccoon (as yet unnamed). Watch The Stratosphere Lounge of 2021-01-14 to see it’s origin. (If you don’t want to watch the whole thing, skip to about the last 1/3 or 1/4 of the video.)
The Raccoon should be named Rocky, after the song.
Rocky gets in over his head, makes wobbly mincemeat of the doctor’s prognosis, and walks away.
Gideon’s Bible … well Gideon gets around and isn’t the worse fellow traveler in the world.
The song makes no evaluation of Gideon or his bible, just a guess as to his motive for leaving it behind.
Of course, I’m making something out of nothing here. Because it’s entertaining to me. lol
1:12:00 is the timestamp I’ve been giving. Early enough to understand the gist of it.
Vicki, The Constitution Party might be the way to go. Please see my post and comments “Let’s get this Party Started”
