State of the Union Blithering

I watched the State of the Union speech last night. They’re invariably loaded with breeze and fertilizer. I make it a point to move my house plants close to the monitor each year. They seem to thrive afterwards. Sadly, I don’t. This year was no exception. Please note: For families who are dealing with accelerating energy costs this winter, buy an electric car, build a windmill and invest in solar panels. Ever cost those out, Uncle Joe? And to all you ignorant businessmen, don’t lower wages, just lower “costs”! What a keen mind! He doesn’t seem to realize that the most likely approach to increasing wages and lowering costs is to reduce headcount. And to all you courageous Ukrainians…have a nice day. Ah, well. We don’t elect officials to be brilliant. It would take too much mental wattage. Hmmm. Maybe we should give them some beanies with propellers.
