What is it about this little
thing that makes it an SUV? I can see getting 5 people in there with some discomfort, but 7? Maybe if the extra 2 are kids, little ones.
I’m also amazed that people would pay $2,500 just for the privilege of ordering one. From their payment FAQ:
How much does it cost to place an order for Model Y?
The cost to place an order for Model Y is $2,500. The full payment will be collected at delivery.
That certainly doesn’t sound like a down payment, sounds like it’s in addition to the full price. For something you don’t even have a hope of receiving for probably 18 months or more.
