I believe I have figured out who the next “Obama” is. Andrew Yang is running for President for 2020.
This is the first candidate that I haven’t felt is “stupid” and so “radical” that he won’t even be listened to by the moderate liberals. I believe that he will bring together the radical left and the more moderate liberals to his views and policies. I highly recommend that anyone who hasn’t heard of him, I hadn’t until today, it’s time to do some research. https://youtu.be/8tuJ0phjFys
What scares me, is I like listening to him….. I disagree with his proposed policies, but…..

I am watching an interview with Andrew and Ben Shapiro now and remembered your blog post. I could not agree with you more. I disagree with his policies but this guy is very good at verbalizing his theories and policies. He is able to give more specifics than Obama (hope and change) ever could and most importantly he does not sound like one of the “hair on fire” democrats that is completely focused on racism, sexism, bigotry, homophobia, trans-phobia, reparations, discrimination, or alike. It would be a total mistake to not play close attention to Andrew Yang, in my opinion he has a lot more substance than anyone else in the democrat lineup to date.
Thanks for telling me about his interview. I just watched “most of it” not being a Daily Wire subscriber I didn’t get to see the end. He knows how to justify his policies and many of the things he talks about, especially surrounding the impact of technology on jobs is important and an issue that is rarely discussed openly. As the minimum wage is pushed higher, companies are forced to make the economical decision between wages and automation. When it is more cost effective to automate, that is what will happen, we see it in banks, supermarkets and fast food places already. I like the fact that he recognizes the “need” for people, especially men, to work because it creates a sense of dignity that is lacking when they are unemployed. And he appreciates the need for someone to be the household caretaker, usually women, and that it is work too.
If he makes it further along in his candidacy without being crushed by the far left (as I heard they are already trying to do) it will be important for the right to be ready with their own policy views on some of the issues he is planning to address.
