Let me start by saying I am a new member. I have been watching this content since Eat The Rich. However, it was Bill’s series on The Stolen Election, Part 1 and the subsequent Part 2 that made me join as a member. Brilliant work Bill. We are kindred spirits on our love for this country, sci-fi, and our anger over current events. It did my soul good to see I was not alone in my fears and concerns.
Let me get my bias out of the way. I am an unapologetic Trump supporter. I believe that while not all Democrats are bad people, I believe that most bad people are Democrats. I believe that if true evil had a home in this nation that its home is in the Democrat party. All that being said, this is not about Trump, this is about election integrity.
We know that 70 Republican poll watchers & 0 Democrat poll watchers in Detroit were removed due to covid restrictions even though a week prior the Michigan Supreme Court ruled that election laws supersede covid restrictions. We know they stopped counting and sent everyone home, only to have Democrats return an hour later to restart counting without any Republicans present, in violation of election law. We know that a a poll worker who refused to certify the vote was doxed by an elected Democrat representative and several other Democrats and told people where to find her children.

All of this and far more is being ignored, just as Russia Collusion is being ignored. We know for certain and with proof that we have a two tier system of justice. One for the Democrat elite, and one for everyone else. We know for certain that Republicans are impotent and/or complicit in such a way that they are not in the fight against this in any meaningful way. Justice will not be served, mark my words.
I am not sure exactly when the Republic fell, but we know now, for absolute certainty, that it has fallen. I don’t know how long we have lived under the illusion of our founders intentions and on what day we left them behind, but I know for certain we are not living in the nation they created. We The People no longer have a vote. That means we are no longer ruled by a representative government. The fourth estate is now the state sponsored media. We The People no longer have an advocate as a check against the state to keep the Government in line. The Republic has fallen.
So what can we do? We gather to us all those who still desire to be in a nation our founders intended and we support them. As Bill has brilliantly pointed out, Google, and to a lesser extend, Facebook, Twitter, and the rest of Big Tech is the greatest threat we face. Democrats are useful idiots to Big Tech and will be cast aside as Conservatives have as soon as their usefulness is at an end. We have to use alternatives to these companies.
I have deleted my Twitter account, but I never really liked twitter, so this was easy. I have 13 years of family pictures on Facebook and connections with nearly every person I was in school with. I also run a Deplorables’ Radio political group that I have spent 12 years building, so this is a more complicated separation. For starters, I have ‘hidden’ every advertisement that comes up and I wont answer Facebook why I have done it. Any advertisement that I am interested in, I go to Duck Duck Go and look it up so that Facebook gets no clicks or credit for my patronage.
I am very active on dozens of pages of my local and national government representative pages. I pay very close attention to the owners of Democrat businesses and I shop elsewhere. In every conceivable way, I am going to separate my participation and dollars from anything that would support the radical left wing machine. On the flip side, I am going out of my way to seek out Conservative businesses and support them with my dollars. Once I get off my nearly 90 days of banning on Facebook, I will begin to promote that others do the same. Individually, no one is going to notice our efforts. Collectively, if 70+ million of us stop feeding the leftist machine, I hope they begin to take notice.
In the meantime, I have moved to Parler. I am working on finding a way to work with MeWe and at some point in what I hope is the very near future, sign the divorce papers from Facebook.

It’s worth noting that even if by some twist of fate Trump wins, everything I stated above still holds true. I will have more hope that we can overcome these things I have pointed out, but nevertheless, the Republic is in dire straights.
I hope that The Republic has been struck by a Dire Illness.
Do you know someone who has been really sick, or had a heart attack, but not died from it. Maybe even recovered from it.
Some of what they did they can no longer do, like what they used to eat all the time.
Some of what they did, they do differently. Perhaps because they can no longer take these pleasures for granted.
Can we just be a different kind of republic? Maybe one that builds strict and extensive mandatory verification into our elections? One that mandates a Media Blackout while that process is going on?
I doubt you can stop people from gossiping about elections on Social Media. But we really ought to be able to police ourselves there.
And Entertainment is diverse enough for people to endure the Media Blackout.
Provided we as a people are chastened enough by this election to not Backslide, or at least be able to recognize the Backsliding for what it is.
We are capable of being better than our Base Natures.
MeWe maybe like one of those small trees you see around big old trees in Old Growth forest.
You have to find terrain that’s a little to rugged to live on or even harvest forest to find remaining old growth. It is out there, in surprising places. There is a small parkt on Staten Island with Old Growth Remnant. The terrain does not seem that rugged. Maybe by the time technology caught up with the terrain the lumber companies found forested land in other states they could get better yields out of than that bit of land.
Those small trees are older than they appear. They are often the offspring of that big tree. The big tree, however, has been hogging up all the sunshine (and possibly the nutrients in the ground.
So maybe MeWe can step up. It does not seem to have done so yet, and Bill Whittle has been there a while.

A quick heads-up: it is possible to save your entire Facebook history, photos etc. on your local disk, so in principle you could delete that account too
