In his recent Stratosphere, Bill talked about a possible new Daily Wire podcast on conspiracy theories, and then mentioning Shakespeare. I think that he hasn’t heard the really GOOD theory yet, which was developed by a Norwegian called Petter Amundsen. For various reasons he looked for codes in Shakespeare’s original printings, and started nesting up more and more clues until finally it led him to a treasure map. Yes, I kid you not! Now, while I was watching his theory on Norwegian television the first time around, I was mildly intrigued by all the coincidences, but I also was keenly aware that if you data mine a book for secret codes, you will easily find them (ref. “Bible codes”).
What really caught my attention was that the treasure map identified a particular place in the New World, namely Oak Island in New Foundland. Those familiar with conspiracy theories will recognize the name of a place where strange things have been found. Well, what Amundsen did was to provide a new clue to the puzzle and based on the map, he was able to identify yet another “keystone” on Oak Island, hitherto undiscovered. In other words, the Shakespeare code made a prediction which turned out to be validated in the real world. THAT peaked my attention.
I think that this real-world prediction success coupled with the numerous weird coincidences in the original text (including in gravestones etc.) is an indication that Amundsen probably is right about there being a code embedded in Shakespeare’s work. This does NOT mean that Shakespeare’s work was written by someone else, but it does imply that he was not quite alone.
