Smaller, more slanted eyes, thicker eyebrows, thinner lips.
The face recognition/reproduction is good, but the blinking looks non-realistic, like you’re pausing mentally… It’s a bit disconcerting, non-Bill-like. But the character you’re trying to superimpose Bill’s face onto may not be Bill’s character?
When the folks at the Grand C saw my MAGA hat I found it prudent to stay away from the rim. The natives and volcano in Road to Bali have nothing on Grand Canyon denizens
I am surprised at your Grand Canyon experience. I have been to the canyon several times, and at no time did any park ranger or others keep me away from the edge. My own fear of heights kept me at a safe spot. It may have been that the area you were in was having safety issues at the time. Often areas on the edge can get soft or be undermined and dangerous for a lot weight added to them. I have seen people crawl over the barricades and onto the rocks and do very stupid things. As a note, I’ve hiked across the canyon 3 times, the last time on my 69th birthday. It is a marvel. Hope you did take a short hike at least down the Bright Angel or South Kaibab trails. The latter is stunning in its first 3 miles. The mules are fun too, but put some callus on your butt first.
Brilliant Bill, what a fantastic idea, I would love to see you do something on history. I have been following you for years and your history material is absolutely top shelf. Maybe to help with the workload, you and Steve could collaborate on something?
