Bill, you are so wrong on the George Floyd death. You are basing your position on a 1-minute snippet of a video that appears to show what the media has pounded incessantly as narrative. This incident took place over a 20 minute stretch of time, none of which is ever shown or discussed. The restraint used by the officer was a non-lethal restraint that had been used over 240 times by the MPD. In none of those cases was a suspect killed or injured. George Floyd complained of not being able to breathe at the point where he was handcuffed. The autopsy specifically eliminated strangulation or asphyxiation. He died of cardiac arrest – his heart stopped. He had enough fentanyl in his system to kill most people, Just prior to George Floyd being placed on the ground, there had been a 2-minute vigorous struggle in the back seat of the squad car, that ended with Floyd being pulled out the passenger side of the car and placed face down on the pavement. Within 4 minutes of that happening Floyd lost consciousness. His heart had stopped 4-5 minutes before that. I won’t argue that is probably was no longer necessary for the officer to have maintained the restraint on Floyd for as long as he did, but it was not the cause of Floyd’s death. I watch with the closed captions on (service related hearing loss) and some of the translations are really funny. In this show when Bill mentioned Antifa, it was translated as Aunt Eva.
For those who are really deaf this could be a mojor problem. But having captions is so much better than having none at all.

Bill, I feel I need to make sure that my earlier comments are not misinterpreted. I respect your opinion and I know it was arrived at honestly. Obviously I think you are reading this kneeling by police and officials (like the mayor of LA) incorrectly.
There are very few “legitimate protesters.” They have no point other than rage against authority. Justice is being served. This particular photo shows senior officers who will never be trying to actually control a violent situation, but they can hope for politically patronized promotion. I am convinced they were kneeling for one of three reasons: they are in ideological sympathy with BLM (police are systemically racist), they were ordered to do that in the vain of placating the demonstrators, they saw an opportunity to show their political correctness to their political leadership in hope of favor.
I am friends with three LEO’s. What they are ashamed of is the police not being effectively used to end the violence. They are outraged at police kneeling in the presence of violent, disrespectful protesters. They agree with Rudy.
The stars indicate rank. Rank in most, if not all, metro police forces is highly correlated to political correctness and identity group. That is the reason for their taking a knee.
The reaction of the raging protesters is rooted in their perception that this act is a surrender, not acknowledgement of whatever their demands are (because they have no coherent demands, except various social justice). Every chief of police and their spokespersons has unequivocally condemned the evil of this incident.
The justice system is dealing correctly with this incident. So why is the traditional posture of surrender (kneeling) by people in authority and leadership required to stop the spitting, flipping off, cursing, throwing objects? Your interpretation of the photo and the other similar instances is wrong.
No evidence that these actions have changed any of the hate of police or reduced the subsequent crowd actions, especially after dark. If you think kneeling will reduce this violence, I’ll take that bet. What can certainly expect is less effectiveness of controlling these crowds.
As of this moment, there has been no objective facts presented that this was racially motivated. Skin color is not evidence, less one is a racist.

Your new Firewall is brilliant! I hope it goes out free to every person on the planet. I also agree with you about Cornel West’s contention that America is a “failed social experiment”. But there is something else that is causing this failure to become truer with each passing day. Here is a quote from John Adams, second President of the United States:
“[W]e have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. … Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” (Source: John Adams, The Works of John Adams, Second President of the United States, Charles Francis Adams, editor (Boston: Little, Brown, 1854), Vol. IX, p. 401, to Zabdiel Adams on June 21, 1776.)
In other words, we are witnessing a decline in morality and religion that our own Constitution is powerless to prevent. The constitution was written for a self-governing people and when the people backslide into a “basket of deplorables”, this social contract, which is our constitution, can no longer effectively serve the people. Only a religious revival will keep the Constitution from getting shredded.
I await with bated breath for the release of the finished Fire Wall, so I can share, share, share it!! I especially want to share it with my (sort of) adopted son in Zambia, who dreams of a bright future with unlimited opportunities. He keeps up with much of what goes on in America through the 400+ members of the Facebook group I started for him called Mathews’ Family. The Family is determined to not only help him with his current circumstances, like shelter; food; medical and other needs, but also have a college fund and endless love and encouragement to walk towards his goals with confidence in his abilities. The lesson here is that this young man, who comes from the poorest start imaginable, is working hard toward the best future he can earn through his efforts. I wish that every young person in America would have the courage and determination for a bright future that this smart, charming and dedicated young man in Zambia does.
Damn – that’s yet another great firewall. I have missed them. Another person who misses them is my nephew. A few years ago his family moved in with us and he was entering seventh grade and had questions about what he was perceiving regarding……….our last president. I sat him down and we watched a bunch of your firewalls. He absolutely devoured them. He’s now entering 11th grade and has better discernment than I did at his age. Ironically, just last week he asked me if you had made any new firewalls recently. I’m so happy to be able to share this one with him.

Because he was wearing uniform, and he was supposed to be doing his job
He could have proteted after he has done, as a private citizen, and that would have been fine
But he decided to do it on his job, while he was paid, and he disgraced his uniform

Bigger pills are harder to swallow. Seems to fit to me; the whole premise on that side is harder to swallow.
I think Bills comment that it is irrational to expect everyone to be rational is spot on. You can convince some with reason, the rest need emotions. There is a point at which you do not argue with an idiot because people watching may not be able to tell the difference.
Red Team: Get the content right then work on style.
Blue Team: Get the style right then make sure the content supports the pre-conceived narrative.
Why policemen kneeling?
Because they can also have an agenda
