They’re was a governorship stolen in Washington using the ‘box found in trunk’ technique also as I recall.
In Florida 2000 , Gore was never in the lead ever, the networks called it for Gore with the polls still open and Bush in the lead. Katherine Harris had warned them about the two time zones the week before. I will never believe that was an ‘accident’, it was planned from the beginning to depress the Bush vote in and panhandle and the entire rest of the country. ’
2004, Dino Rossi ran against christine fraud-wire. She demanded a recount and Dino won again. That’s when it should have stopped, but noooo. Then she demanded a second recount and of course won by the 129 votes from the trunk. I saw an ad on eBay shortly after for the “discounted tickets” to go to the “discounted governor fraud-wire’s” after-party. That guy’s post was great!

Re: DuBois, I hope you had room to point out the parallel to the first “black” president of the U.S., who was not only half-white, but who did not descend from slaves in the American South, but who claimed their heritage as his own. Talk about cultural appropriation! Could write an essay on that myself.
