I have been watching Firewall, Bill Wittle Now, Right Angle and the Stratosphere Lounge for some time now and have always enjoyed all of the repartee, especially among the three of you. This is my first venture into corresponding with you. In a recent Right Angle you were discussing the plan and need for Bill Wittle.com to get into some of the gamer-like sci-fi type content to attract younger audiences. It is a wonderful, brilliant idea and I would like to just make a suggestion as you work on this project.
I see the three of you as having three individual skill sets that could make for truly inspired and amazing content.
My recommendation is that you divide the production of the show into three parts. Bill naturally gets technical design and basic overall visual look of the project. Steve is primarily the wordsmith (dialog, wit, etc.) while Scott provides the themes and moral compass of the show, project, film, whatever. These are not “set in stone” roles, but a general guideline for development of whatever project with which you come up. I look forward to the impact the three of you will have on another generation.

I once heard that Gene Roddenberry architected the personalities of Star Trek the original series so that command crew were the brain of the ship and each member took on an aspect of the human psyche. Captain Kirk was the will, Spock was the intellect and Bones was the emotion. That formula can be seen through many of the subsequent series that have come up over the years.
It doesn’t fit perfectly with the Right Angle team, but generally I think Bill is the will, Scott is the intellect and Steve is the emotion. They are a great team and I love exploring the galaxy with them. Live long and prosper.
