Guys, I think you ALL did a great job with this one! But Bill, I think you went almost “above and beyond”. There have been times of late where I’ve watched some of your shows and felt you foundered a bit. But on this one, you were pretty much spot on. And Steve and Scotty, you guys were too!! Well done, fellas!!!
Bill talked about Iwo Jima, while I was thinking about the bomb drops in Japan. At some point in a conflict someone usually has to make a decision about taking damage (or hurting innocents) in order to save even more innocents or win a fight.
On the “false hope” criticisms about being open by Easter… well I would like to be too. Also, there’s the whole idea in most sports about being behind and running out of time but never giving up because you never know and upsets do happen and comebacks by underdogs do occur. Its why we play the games. So, looking at production of gear and machinery needed and tests and vaccines, the President’s team could calculate what we need, how much we’ll probably get and how soon based on what companies say they can provide, add it up and maybe come with up a number that means “Easter”. If not, the President could just be our cheerleader in chief as he has had to be in times past, the very visible face saying “We CAN DO this!” and by saying so, convince us we can, and that motivation means we do it.
Our Gov of Wisconsin has just today(WED) increased the stay at home order until April 24th.
Yeah, and I’m only hoping it is dated that long because he wanted to have it run a month like some others did, but starting as late as he did, it will just run that much later. All we really need are no-go zones around Milwaukee and Madison and anyone going or coming there gets tested.
Bill, this episode deserves a “link below” to that firewall you did years and years ago about Jon Stewart and Truman dropping the bomb.
Given how radicalized the Democratic Party has become, one could argue that President Trump has been a wartime president since day 1
I sent this one around – mainly because of the Meme Bill made, but the content is great, too! Last week (I think), Patriot Post had a Meme of Pres Trump with an Army helmut and stuff w/ a flag behind him – a lot like Patton! only he was smiling, and said ‘We will keep America great’. That’s what we need from our president at this time, hope…
