Today marks the 230th Anniversary of the passing of the Bill of Rights, Dec 15, 1791.

The founding fathers originally intended the Bill of Rights to be an additional shield against federal tyranny, reinforcing the clear limits that the Constitution already had put in place.

The more I learn about the Founding Fathers’ documents, the more I am grateful and impressed with their understanding of human nature.  Without that, they could not have created the greatest nation on the globe.  As these documents are being ignored and vilified, we who know what they are and what they stand for must speak up and defend them as best we can.  God bless the United States of America.

I am a proud American.  Blessed to live in the USA.
