Transgender Sports Solution: No More Male/Female Division, Let the Strongest Athletes Play

Bill Whittle solves the transgender athlete controversy: Let the best, fastest, strongest athletes play on every team, without sex distinction.

The NCAA will no longer hold events in states that don’t allow biological males to play female sports, and vice versa. Bill Whittle sees their virtue signal, and raises them to say — erase the distinction between men’s and women’s sports. Let the best, fastest, strongest athletes play on every team.

Full disclosure, I am transgender. I have had barely a drop of testosterone in my blood for 10 years. I am, and have always been fairly athletic all my life. Although I don’t have 16″ biceps any more, and I’m definitely not built like I used to be, I STILL have to open jars for women…and I CAN open said jars that few women could hope to get open. Of course, that’s just one example. I am a cyclist, and although I can’t keep up with the mens’ peloton any more, I can easily keep up with women who train 3-4 times as much. Do I participate in the sport of cycling? Yes. Do I compete in the sport of cycling? I wouldn’t dream of doing that. Life isn’t perfect.

I’ve been advocating this for some time, now. Eliminate the distinction between men’s and women’s sports.
Think of the savings in time and money with things like the olympics. No separate male and female accommodation, the teams would be far smaller. They would only take about 2/3 the time (if that) due to there being no separate trials and events for male and female compeditors.
Great idea.

Ah, the Sherrin. If I’m not mistaken, looks like your intro image shows a game of Aussie Rules Football ? (actually AFLW – the Women’s League), that delightfully femionine-looking player depicted is one Hannah Mouncey.

Yes, we are having the same transgenedered sports lunacy occuring over here…..probably worse

The trouble is that the best players won’t be the only ones to make the team. They’ll have to play everyone because it’s not fair that some are better than others and, besides, all of them think they should be on the team, so who’s to say they shouldn’t be?

Surely one expensive outcome to all this messing around will be falling gates, falling sales in fan’s stores etc, they must have thought of this before proceeding with what looks like suicide, unless other sources of income have been suggested.

It’s those many years of clean living and only pure thoughts that make Bill appear eternally yout’ful.

If that was when Steve Green took off on his epic rant about Special Olympics, I did the same head shake. Imagine the Media Matters troll selectively editing Vodkapundit’s comments and claiming “See, these people are EEVEEEEIL!”

So, no more WNBA and no more other women’s professional sports? I bet that female-looking entity on that women’s soccer team would go for this, for sure!

I think the first requirement for a male to complete in women’s sports is total castration. Then we will see how many men wish to do so.

Well, since so many have already been figuratively castrated, the number might surprise. Though, if we actually just checked testosterone level, there are plenty that already qualify as reduced levels.

Reduced testosterone level is actually a problem nationwide, even for alpha males…and there are many suspected causes for it…this has been going on for some decades…research on billfolds and sitting and bicycle seats…since you brought up the subject…

I knew there were good reasons that I a) switched to a front pocket wallet in my 20s; b) have used a stand up desk for years; and c) hate bike riding and have a recumbent type exercise bike.
I also blame Zima and hard lemonade rather than beer and scotch. In short it is John Kerry’s fault.

I would love if some college that had a Freedom Loving leaning would recruit some of these high school “athletes” who are competing against women in some sport to be on their Women’s basketball team. Since they are already competing, I will presume they meet the whole 1 year of testosterone reduction.
I would also like to place a future’s bet because I think they would win the Women’s tournament next year. Take 8-10 18 year old guys who run track and coach them up, they would win. And I don’t think it would be close.

As in a woman’s basketball team solely composed of biological males? Brilliant. The ultimate “Emporer’s New Suit” scenario. Everyone on our side could point to it and no one on the other side would dare admit to it.

Yes, that would be the intent. Much like the Women’s national soccer team lost to an U-16 group of boys in a “friendly” this would show the differences.

Search “Harrison Bergeron” by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.
There are several sites that have the entire 9 page story.
Here is the first paragraph:
THE YEAR WAS 2081, and everybody was finally equal. They weren’t only equal before God and the law. They were equal every which way. Nobody was smarter than anybody else. Nobody was better looking than anybody else. Nobody was stronger or quicker than anybody else. All this equality was due to the 211th, 212th, and 213th Amendments to the Constitution, and to the unceasing vigilance of agents of the United States Handicapper General.

I had forgotten about that story, I read it in High School as part of “Welcome to the Monkey House” anthology.

Back in the late ’60’ss and early ’70’s where I went to High School in the rural upper Midwest, Vonnegut was considered mildly subversive and was never on the “required reading” lists of English classes. I do not recall ever seeing his books in the school library either. If the English teacher saw a Vonnegut book being passed behind backs or under desks, she give a little smile with a mischievous twinkle in her eye and a faint nod. She knew another mind was about to discover Kilgore Trout or Billy Pilgrim and quietly approved that particular act of intellectual defiance.

Strange then that today stories like “Harrison Bergeron” are so prophetic and yet I cannot help but think that High School students no longer pass dog-eared copies of Vonnegut back and forth amongst themselves. Perhaps something was lost for good there and Vonnegut should have been on those required reading lists.

My Jr HS English teachers and in fact many of my HS teachers would have considered themselves to be subversives. This was the late 70s and they did college in the 60s, and in the NYC suburbs. So I recall reading this story in 8th grade along with Fahrenheit 451 and a little novel that I still remember called Tuned Out – A 16-year-old boy recounts his painful adjustment to the discovery that his adored older brother is a drug addict. I still recall that story vividly at times.
That was when I discovered Clarke and Asimov and Heinlein. And while Ayn Rand was not assigned, I did have a HS teacher recommend her to me. Slog though that at 16.
While I can look back on my teachers as mostly being flaming leftists, they cared about exposing kids to a broad range of topics. Heck, I had Animal Farm and 1984 as summer reading before 7th grade. Now they are playbooks rather than dystopian tales of caution.

I guess I was lucky in that I don’t recall a single teacher in my primary (K-12) education that was an obvious leftist. Most of them were either local people who had gone off to college and come back, or were at least from the same cultural amalgam that is the rural Midwest.

Bob Clark (Mr. Clark) was my U.S. Government and U.S. History teacher. He was a sawed off sparkplug of a man formerly of the 82nd Airborne. He did an excellent job of teaching us why America is exceptional and why it needs to stay that way. I can credit my loathing for Communism and for that matter any dictatorial system directly to him. He was a Patriot and profound lover of personal liberty.

His wife Nancy (Mrs. Clark) was one of my science teachers, along with James Kerber (Mr. Kerber). Those two were responsible for teaching me that science is never absolute but always a learning process and the unequivocal need for critical thinking and the application of the scientific method.

Betty Allen (Mrs. Allen) and Roxy Ulrich (Mrs. Ulrich) were my English and Literature teachers. They loved the fact that I loved to read. They would often hand me a book and say “I’d be interested in hearing what you think of this one after you read it.” They’re responsible for my discovery of Frank Herbert, David Morrell and many others. Sometimes I would get called to the Teachers Lounge from study hall for those discussions with them and the other English teachers. Mrs. Allen gave me “Animal Farm” and positively doted over my take on it in front of the other teachers.

Heinlein, Asimov, Clarke, Niven, Pournelle and many others were pointed out to me in the school library by these teachers.

I’m not saying they were all conservatives but they ran the gamut from classical libertarian to classical liberal to centrists to conservatives. At the time I really didn’t realize what amazing, wonderful gifts these fantastic people were giving me. Later in life I did and have made a point of remembering them and honoring their legacy.

I’m sure each and every one of them would not be allowed to teach today, or at least not to teach as they taught back then. This alone is a sad and alarming commentary on the current state of education in The Greatest Nation Ever to Exist on Earth.

Mrs. Morrison taught civics and history though she was personally anti-war, she was extremely good about talking about what government did well and did not. I remember a time when she set us up and had another teacher visit the class briefly. He took her purse. She then announced a crime had been committed and asked us to describe the perpetrator ( no name since we knew him). It was pretty hilarious, but illuminating that the descriptions of 20+ teenagers were all over the map. Couldn’t even agree on what color shirt he was wearing.
Dr. and Mrs. Clemente taught English and we would sometimes stop by his house on a Friday or Sat afternoon or evening for coffee and to talk. They were always interested in the kids.
Mr and Mrs. Carminucci taught math and history. They were incredibly supportive and always pushing people to do as well as they could.
Susan Kreutzberg was my favorite math teach, geometry, trig and algebra. I stole her line for the end when I first became a manager. She would always ask: questions? Comments? Problems? I still do that sometimes. Oh, also had a big crush on her.
Alan Criswell taught English and Performing Arts and directed a couple plays I was in. Great person.
Kal Gancsos and Dr DiGiorolomo were our band instructors. I really appreciated those gents. The patience to work with kids to make decent music, just wow. Oh, and Kal was the thief in the above story.
Carolyn Berrien – Chorus and A Capella Choir – Affectionately known as Ma Berrien to 25 years worth of kids. About says all you need to know about how we felt about her.
There were others, don’t have anything bad to say about any of them almost 4 decades out.
Yea, I got a pretty good and well- rounded education. But part of the reason for that was how involved our parents were. You worked at school because that was expected. And we were educated by our teachers because that was expected, too.

In hindsight, had I known then what I know now I would have been more appreciative of those people and those schools. For me, at that time, I just thought of it all as “normal”. I think that it probably was normal for those days across the greater portion of America. It’s tragic for that particular normality to no longer be the rule.

Gone now are the days when a teacher would be in the mainstream of the profession by caring more about the minds in their charge than the latest dictates from the Teachers Union and Leftist virtue signalling.

Mid 70’s for my high school experience and I took 3 years of Spanish. Loved it. Loved the teacher, guitar playing Jimmy Buffet wannabe – it was a great class. But looking through the eyepiece of today, it’s now a memory of just a bunch of white-priviledge kids taking part in cultural appropriation.

Personally I think if the words “cultural appropriation” cross someone’s lips in the fascistic Leftest context —

They should be followed day and night and shouted at if they wear blue jeans (invented by a white America guy named Jacob Davis in collaboration with Levi Strauss), eat a hamburger (which of course is a type of sandwich named for Hamburg, Germany) or any kind of sandwich, (invented by the Earl of Sandwich, England). They’d better not be watching television, (invented in Utah by a guy named Philo Farnsworth). Nor dare they be caught talking on a telephone (American, Alexander Graham Bell) or a cellular based phone (Martin Cooper, Motorola was a wholly US based company at the time) or using a modern personal computer (Invented by John Blankenbaker of Oregon), or using the internet (DARPA created that) … Etc.

All of these are inventions now ubiquitous to the culture and all originated by white American inventors (Except I don’t know that everyone on the DARPA team that developed the internet was white but they sure as hell were Americans). I don’t really care that the inventors were white and I doubt most of those inventors did either. If they did, to my knowledge none of them have ever gone on record saying something like “South Americans can’t wear blue jeans because that cultural appropriation of an American iconic garment”.

Because here’s the thing. In our modern world America has arguably contributed more to mankind than mankind has contributed to America. If an American appreciates the music, dress, food or other aspect of some other nationality, that’s just those people paying the American back for all the amazing and wonderful things America has given them. This seems fair and equitable for everyone to me.

Or we could just yell at them when they use anything developed in our culture like the Leftists yell at us when we enjoy a taco.

The hypocrisy of the Left is astonishing in its “What’s mine is mine and what’s yours is mine too” attitude.

This demonstrates clearly the absurdity known as “cultural appropriation”.

I think it’s because the current crop of ‘radicals’ in high school and college are anything but radical. The powers that be have crafted a system that never allows for deviation from the indoctrination path set forth. Vonnegut was edgy way back when, but his edginess was designed to make you think for yourself. The radical tripe being force fed today, such as The 1619 Project and “White Fragility” is promoted to make you afraid to think for yourself. You’re expected to swallow all of it, and if it chokes you on the way down, that’s your fault. After a few sessions of swallowing whole are the lies and garbage being served, it becomes easier to take because your reason is disconnected. Kids today are perpetual toddlers, swallowing the mush that their keepers spoon into their mouths. Sad.

Indeed. Free thinking is no longer encouraged, it’s been replaced by a slavish societal indoctrination which is a dark shadow of true education.

Diana Moon Glampers, or something like that.

I gave that story to my daughter to read a couple of years back. She was really struck by it.

Depends on what I’m making for breakfast. Pancakes require more attention.

I have visions of a cross between “Dodgeball” and the “Thunderdome.”
The left seems to be having success in weaponizing corporate fragility to bypass the democratic process and changes they could not do electorally. But, when the sports entertainment business sours its product with politics, its core customer base walks away.

Leftist political tactics seem more and more like “The Blob”, that 1958 movie with Steve McQueen. It’s an amorphous evil thing that keeps growing, seeping around corners, squeezing through cracks and out of crevices, consuming and destroying everything in its path.
They don’t have public support for their policies, so they try to engineer the courts to do their bidding. When they get blocked in the courts they turn to corporations. They long ago absorbed education and entertainment.

John. I did. My wife did too. We were HUGE SF Giants fans. Huge. From Candlestick Park to Pac Bell to AT&T park. Last weekend she gathered up all the logo coats, sweatshirts, scarves, blankets (SF is cold in the summer, and worse in October) and donated them to a shelter, and the bobbleheads went to Goodwill.
We walked away.

I’ve been saying this for a while now – thanks for the great vid.
There’s a bigger question that this triggers – Where the f*** are the feminist groups?!?

They are as quiet as the grave. Bloody cowards! There’s no leftist money or power to be gotten if they deviate from the Leftist party line. Feminist Shlemminist! By their works ye shall know them.
Great video guys! Read The People of the Lie by M. Scott Peck

They’re impaled on the horns of a dilemma.

If they have to admit that boys are really boys and can do something/anything better than girls, that blows their feminist argument out of the water. Their position that girls can do anything and everything boys can do, and do it better — Is thereby nullified. The ridiculousness of Captain Marvel as a woman or Rey as a Skywalker Jedi is exposed in all its absurdity.

If they stick up for biological females against the Y chromosome boys claiming to be trans “girls” in athletic competition their virtue signalling is wrecked completely. They have to actually agree with Conservatives on something vital and basic and frankly I think they’d rather die.

The shock to the current leftist cultural narrative would go all the way to the top. From the lowliest self-serving guy pretending to be a girl in High School so he can shower in the girls locker room to the highest rabid feminazi in entertainment and government (which tragically seem to be rapidly becoming the same thing).

There’s really no choice for them but carefully constructed compartmentalized thinking. Everything else leads to open exposure of their absurdities.

I don’t have any girls in my family who this is an issue for, so I don’t have a dog in this hunt. If I did, I might think otherwise of this situation. Because from my perspective I find this to be a very amusing conundrum for the feminists.

The feminist groups actually opened the door to “co-ed” when they went to court to force boys football teams to accept girls who wanted to play football…the same with the Boy Scouts and girls who wanted to camp instead of doing girly-stuff with the Girl Scouts. Instead of just starting their own girls football teams or changing the focus in some of the Girl Scout troops to mirror the interests of the girls, they forced their way onto boys teams and into the Boy Scouts. The feminists opened the door and, as with all open doors, you never know what is going to come through it….and transgenders came through it. There is some old philosophy about arguments (with couples): If you are going to argue about the toothpaste, keep the argument to the toothpaste. Do not bring in the open cupboard doors (or whatever penny ante thing about the other person bothers you.) The same goes for the feminists: They allowed themselves to be dragged into the LGBQwhatever cause, thus sullying their position as being advocates for females and, in this case, girls.

That is an excellent commentary! Many, many years ago in my town a young girl (her father was a lawyer), said she wanted to play on the Boys Little League. She was a celebrity! I don’t even remember the outcome or if she did play or not. I am wondering if she has a daughter and if that daughter is a competing athlete?

Over a year ago, Martina Navratilova tried to push back against this. Actually came out and said that Serena Williams would get clocked by any male in the top 100. Cancel Culture came for her hard and she shut up.
This is a woman who was one of the first openly gay athletes and did weight training so she could dominate being told that her opinion was not the right one so go away now.

Does this just blow up Title IX? Or, is all of this a New Reading of Title IX which states “Sec. 1681. Sex
(a) Prohibition against discrimination; exceptions
No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance,

Remember “Code Pink”, the anti war pre-antifas (anti-was) who were media darlings during the Bush years? They were ‘disappeared’ for Obama.

Code Pink pivoted to becoming an anti-Isreal group under Obama, hence the disappearance. The Media is uncomfortable showing the anti-semitism among their ranks

Of course there are Conservative feminists taking the right side on this. I’d be more interested in hearing where the big grifters (NOW, NARAL, etc) have to say. Or if they’re saying anything
