Bill, I think you’re right about Conservatives being “fitter” politically. Weightlifters call this “time under tension”, and it is the only way to become stronger.
That few women and “people of color” are elected as Republicans tells me that dems will not vote for Republicans regardless of appearance. And Republican women and “people of color” are sell-outs and traitors as far as dems are concerned.
One reality that the Progressives just can’t wrap their minds around is that many Conservative women would PREFER to vote for a man. As long as he’s going to be the strong responsible levelheaded type, we’ve got many reasons to prefer a man in office. For some, they feel they have better things to do than run for office…like homeschool children and run businesses for their families. A woman’s work is never done. Why would we want to pile on one more thing?
Then there are women who know our sex better than most and distrust a woman who seeks power. Therefore they personally would never run for a position of power when there are men capable of doing the job. They are only willing to use the gift of power under dire circumstances. These women don’t feel powerless but instead view themselves as uniquely powerful when the chips are down and the world is falling apart.
It is really only the Progressives that have tried to convince women that they are only powerful in grandiose positions of power. Only Progressives would be interested in most of their political representatives being women. The bottom line is that Conservative women don’t hate men or feel the need to compete with them. So we don’t care about the sex of our representatives as long as they do a good job and are not power-hungry.
I wholeheartedly agree with everything you said Bill, except this. The Marvel franchise isn’t dead.
Endgame was the highest grossing movie ever. It is still a very viable, very profitable franchise.

And I’m splitting hairs here, but Bill specifically said “Marvel Comics”, not the movies. The comics are already near death, and SJWing hasn’t helped.
Marvel Comics and the MCU are completely different entities w/ entirely different management teams. They just have rights to the same IP. Only in different distribution formats.
Nobody ever accused Trump of racism, or even thought he might be racist, until it looked like he might actually win the RNC nomination in 2016. Does anyone think that ABC would have given an avowed and open racist, someone everyone knew was racist, his own Prime Time network show? And if they do think that, in our current woke culture, shouldn’t the Network execs be held to account for promoting such racism?
Whenever I’m around a Lefty who calls Trump a racist, I backhandedly compliment them that we both know that they’re not stupid enough to honestly believe that. It just seems like too great a coincidence that a man who has been a spectacularly public figure for decades only “became” a racist the moment he became The Radical Left’s Emmanuel Goldstein.
I am so tired of MSM and their constant panel(s) of experts on all subjects involving Trump…they would have little to talk about without Him, the “chosen one.” They cannot ignore Him as their ratings would disappear! One of Trump’s key points for 2020 should be how is “trying” to downsize the federal government, and with most govt. employees being democrats, it IS an uphill battle! His teflon coating with most things will help (especially with handling the media), but he must also emphasize for 2020 what he has accomplished for all minorities, as well as all Americans!! There is a brighter future for our country as a whole with Trump at the helm….now, if something could be done for the West Coast states (I live in califorknia), I would be able to sleep better!
If there really is a “Trumplash” I got to believe the 24×7 news cycle that has been negative Trump all the time has a lot to do with it. I look at my 88 year old mother in law who does not have internet, does not have cable or satellite TV. Her contact with what is going on in the world is ABC/CBS news brought in with an antenna and telephone conversations with her friends most of who have cable TV. My wife and I talk to her daily and almost every time we talk she has a distorted (MSM) view about what is going on with Trump. He colluded with the Russians and is causing a recession and only gave the rich tax cuts and keeps tiny Mexican kids in cages, and supports white supremacy etc etc. With a totally sanitized view of Biden and the rest as being cute little choir boys and girls waiting in line to take communion.
