With two vaccines in distribution just months after the COVID-19 novel coronavirus first emerged, Scott Ott thinks we live in an age of miracles. Stephen Green says we’ve nearly gone full Jetsons. Bill Whittle knows who to thank for Operation Warp speed and the lives that Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and others will save.

Steve said it …get the hell out of the way! Unfortunately it ain’t gonna happen if the left gets into office. They will be in the way. Damn the big government. And Bill agrees.
Has anyone seen ANYTHING re the duration of vaccine-acquired immunity (VAI)? Is it estimated to be six months? Five years? Maybe we just don’t know (yet) – real-life experiences over time will nail down the range – but why is it not even a newsworthy question? NO ONE wants to know how long VAI would last? Really?! (Thank you for your patience. Yes, I’m repeating myself ….)
Obviously there is not enough data on that yet. For the wild virus it’s reported that some people got it again after surviving in the spring. But again it’s not clear whether those are special cases or the baseline, or even mismeasurement. the “min. 6 month” is a good initial estimate then we’ll see. I didn;t see any data on what really is in the vaccine, so no predictions on mutation resistance. OTOH it really should not matter much.
Why is it not even a question, is my point. I think the answer is that too few people know to ask. I ran across a fascinating article today from about a year and a half ago: How long do vaccines last? If one reads all the way to the end, there’s a great graphic comparing different ones. https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2019/04/how-long-do-vaccines-last-surprising-answers-may-help-protect-people-longer
Because it does not make sense as a question? It’s like asking “how tall is the grass”. Actually worse, as “grass” is so much better defined group compared to “vaccine”. You can pick a few random ones and put them in a chart — the only real conclusion you can get from a representative subset is that they differ in drastic ways and your chart look all over the place.
I’m somewhat lost on your question, when you insert an article that keeps repeating “no one knows” and similar phrases in every other paragraph, that supposed to be a good clue.
Not knowing answers is closely related to asking questions.
In this case we know the answer: it is “we can’t answer that”. It’s akin to asking the question “What will the DOW index value be on 2023.02.01”. Traders have the ultimate answer: “no one can tell where the bnext quite will be even a minute ahead”. Making predictions on what will be years ahead is in the realm of gambling or quacks. Science is a good thing because it can reliably tell you that it can not reliably answer your question. Maybe at all, maybe for some time, maybe just before doing some measurements — so you can get it.
Scott, I am not so sure I would say it is a “miraculous achievement” until there is some evidence to that result. As has been mentioned in the comments, I believe there are any number of unanswered questions related to the side / long-term effects of something produced at “Warp Speed”, by we flawed humans. I will, and do every day, thank God for all that we have, I need a bit more convincing that these vaccines are indeed a miracle. I do agree with Bill that the “achievement” in terms of time is worthy of acclaim, however, the end result most certainly has not yet become visible.
Perhaps everyone is getting a placebo. It’s not too far fetched in light of everything else going on. The “powers-that-be” just want us to be scared; i.e. sheeples.
I’m thinking that Roberts need to gofor sure.
Oh, one way or another, we`re going BACK to normal. The easy way or the hard way…… Their choice.
Uhh, I don’t think Trump is going to want to take credit for this “vaccine”. Nobody who made it wants to be anywhere near it let alone inject it into their bodies.
Tell me more.

The pitch is naturally altruistic. He doesn’t want to “cut in line”.

Hah! Hah! Hah!
If anyone believes that this CEO is altruistic, then I am willing to sell him some ocean front property in New Mexico.
So he saves the millions of sheeple waiting for the miracle cure one whole dose. What a guy! (Sarcasm, if it wasn’t obvious).
Bill, Your countenance is so very telling and has been over the last few videos with Steve and/or Scott. I and understand. I am right there with you. The way you used to banter with Steve and Scott before the election fraud became apparent does not seem appropriate now. These topics are so much…well, less. They are a waste of precious time. Time to rethink topics and perhaps focus on short versions of the plan of action. I mean really, almost 13 minutes of Scott waxing poetically about the “miracle” of the days we live in! Steve going on about… well it’s been 5 minutes since I watched the video and really can’t tell you what Steve said… something about flying cars and WWII planes.
I’m not so sure, Ed. I mean I can certainly understand Bill’s anger and all the restm but even when fighting in the trenches the men took time to crack a few jokes, laugh and ease the continual tension. Sure, they took the fighting seriously, but they also managed to have fun where appropriate. One of the secrets to survival in those circustances is to be able to relieve the tension.
For years we’ve mocked the left for making everything about Trump. How they seem to be obsessed and can only focus on him. Now, it seems that Bill is doing the same thing, only about the results of the election.
Look, I am definitely not saying that he doesn’t have a right to be angry. Hell, I’m furious about what’s happened, and I’m not even an American. I’m a contributer, here, and I’ve just upped my membership to carry on this fight. But even the best warriors know that there is a time to kick back and see the humour. Or at least take a break from the continuous tension.
Watching the last few episodes of R/A have worried me. Bill’s snap at Scott the other day was out of character and – in my opinion – uncalled for. Bill’s getting eaten by this issue and if he’s not carful it’s going to take him entirely. If Biden is put into power it’s going to be a long, long fight. Bill burning himself out in the first couple of months isn’t going to help.
No argument with your logic concerning a need to break the monotony. I was a fighting sailor. What I am saying is that the topics prior to all of this does not seem right for the times. Kind of like how things are before the attack vs. after… pick your attack; Pearl Harbor, 9-11, etc. Things change in an instant and what was fitting before now no longer works.
If we don’t stop this social distancing, mask wearing, and constant cleaning, we will pay a price nobody has considered. The human immune system, like our social interaction, requires close contact in order to remain healthy. My concern is government and social media may continue to stoke infectious fears even after herd immunity is achieved. They find the power to control us intoxicating.
I agree. High-risk and low-risk indicators have been identified and verified. Get the info out there, and let people make their own decisions as to the risk they’re willing to take…not just for themselves but for their family and community. What is happening now is, frankly, insane.
The last sentence is perfect.
Big Pharma can’t be sued for injuries caused by their vaccines. Therefor vaccines make more money than medication.
Are these “advances”? I’m not confident in Moderna based on their history let alone the speed at which we’ve seen these vaccines marketed. Something isn’t right.

This one gives me pause to think. I agree that Americans are outstanding at developing and producing new products in record time when government bureaucrats are removed. That’s a wonderful thing that we should be proud of. But could the premature introduction of a largely untested chemical cocktail designed to be injected into the human body- in the interest of your safety, of course – do more long term damage than good? I’m not one to casually embrace conspiracy theories, but I have to admit that I’m a little suspicious at the societal pressure to accept this rapidly developed vaccine – especially when the voices of the hundreds of front line medical people who say that we don’t need it are being aggressively silenced.
There is also some indication that these are the first vaccines that work by altering human RNA which, as I understand it from having a degree in secondary education with biology as my second teaching field, is a key component of cellular replication. Do we know how this might affect us as a species? Could it affect fertility, for example? We don’t know.
As long as the vaccine remains optional, I have no issues with those who feel the need for it. But if it comes to the point that we cannot board an airplane, enter a store, hold a job, attend school, or otherwise live our lives without proof of having taken it, I would have to ask myself, “Why am I being forced to receive a vaccine for a virus that has a 99.7% survival rate among those who catch it when a large percentage of people have to be tested to know that they even have it?”
I just want to say I won’t be taking the vaccine unless tied down and sedated. I just don’t trust anything anymore, especially something that may or may not have side effects that can change my life. I’ll take the risk of getting the virus until it’s proven safe.
Everyone is assuming that big Pharma was motivated by Trump to rapidly develop, produce and ship this alleged, without evidence, miracle vaccine. I decline to assume anything. My faith in all involved evaporated many years ago.
It is amazing what America can do when we’re “allowed” to do it. The red tape ensures every level or person gets their cut of the pie. If you’ve ever purchased a home and read the “closing costs” statement, that’s a perfect example. Or went through opening a small business. My question is, if this vaccine turns out to be “safe”, then why haven’t other Presidents pulled strings to find cures for other diseases? Why are we relegated to long-term prescription meds just to “get by”? When is the last time we’ve had an actual cure for anything? I think it’s basic math. A vax is “X” amount of money and done. Prescription med’s are “X” amount each month times 12 months times how many ever years. As for me, I’ll wait for my vax seeing as I won’t have any redress for harmful side effects, etc. I don’t know what’s in it either. Pass.
Great discussion as always. We should make it our mission going forward to speak the truth about how Operation Warp Speed came about, because as sure as anything, Bill is right, the next Administration will take all the credit and people will applaud them. There’s nothing new in someone solving a problem, only to see their work either forgotten or attributed to someone else. (Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes about a wise old man who saved a city, only to see his work forgotten.) But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t speak up and keep on speaking up. We’re facing the obsolescence of our Founding Principles because most of us didn’t speak up at the beginning when they were first under attack. We thought people couldn’t possibly buy the tripe that the Left was selling. When it became clear that we were wrong about that, many became cynical or dejected and gave up trying to speak up. If we continue in that attitude we may as well turn out the lights now.
I think if we’re going to succeed in Moving Back to America we’re going to need the combination of attitudes shown in our Right Angle Team: Bill’s unflinching dedication to take the fight to the enemy, Steve’s (nearly) irrepressible sense of humor and Scott’s ability to reach up and connect with the values and principles that inspire us to be our best in the face of everything that gets thrown at us. I am so grateful every time I watch these episodes. Well done.
Yes we’re angry about the issues concerning the election lately, but perhaps a smile occasionally Bill?
I think the smile will come back when the anger has subsided and progress can be seen to right the wrongs. Maybe it’s not so much anger, but determination. ???
I appreciate the genuine Bill and not a forced-smile puppet. I appreciate that he tells it like it is with no holes barred.
The private sector has many components of the delivery as well. CVS especially.
As to the plexiglass and 6ft indicators going away. They may not, and not for control reasons, but financial ones. It would cost money to scrape up the 6ft markers at my grocery store for example. Just ignore them until they get ratty looking and gradually get rid of them. Unless the plexiglass causes issues, why not leave them, instead of paying someone to take them down? Leave it to the businesses to decide, and patronize accordingly.
