Where are the Americans?

Paypal, Discord, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Google, Apple, Reddit, Trump Campaign’s email provider have banned the president and supporters like Sidney Powell and Michael Flynn from using some of all of their services.

Congress is threatening impeachment again 2 weeks before the president leaves office to presumably prevent him from running again. And, who doesn’t suspect they will press for criminal charges against him after he’s out?

8 weeks ago, Trump had all but won a second term before voting was shut down on election night. We would go on to see every red state flip blue over the next few weeks as votes were still being counted. Today, Trump, the elected president of the United States and leader of the free world, can’t communicate with any of the citizens of this country without the gate keepers stepping in.

Zuckerberg, Bezos, and Dorsey did in 8 weeks what China, Iran, and Russia wouldn’t be able to do in a year’s long hotwar conflict.

And the biggest kicker of all: people who would presumably describe themselves as pro-freedom Americans either don’t know or don’t care. And I can’t decide which is more disturbing. Where are the Americans?

For the geeks that walk among us. For those who don’t get nerdy humor, This is the chemical diagram for Serotonin – ie. the happy drug that your body makes and uses in a couple of life functions

If only it were that simple, right? Maybe we can make & sell serotonin pills. Like soma for this brave new world…

I seem to recall a Dr. Who episode where in a New York, 20-something-times-removed, in the far future, created adhesive patches to deliver chemical cocktails directly to the user that would cause specific effects, like short-term amnesia or happiness or whatnot.

Anyway, their master stroke, a patch called “Bliss,” destroyed the entire population because they simply laid down and did nothing, blissful unto death.

I know we’re being whimsical here, but the hard dick is this: mankind has to suffer through hardship and earn good times and happiness, lest it lose its flavor and be ultimately unobtainable.

BTW, that same plot device was used in the film Serenity, which capped off the excellent but doomed by its network TV series Firefly The gubmint created a drug called The Pax, meant to eliminate all violent impulses in the population. In the one place where it was tested, almost all the population just stopped caring about everything, including even eating, and they all just died in place. A tiny fraction, however, had the opposite reaction and became monsters – effectively crazed zombies that attacked and killed any normal people they could get their hands on.

It is your right to speak. They (the government) is trying to suppress your right to speak freely.
The constitution says
“That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, (emphasis mine) – That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government
They do not have my consent to tell me what I can and cannot say as I pursue my rights to LIFE, LIBERTY, and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS.
