I have witnessed the noticeable decline of the church during my lifetime and boy do I agree that the root cause of these problems is that falling away, and the consequent near total focus today on the “self” rather than on the sacred. When I look at the history of the church (which began at Pentecost about 2,000 years ago) and compare it to where we are today it makes me wonder — Are we (as a church) travelling in a circle? Here’s what I mean . . .
The church began in Jerusalem with a (relatively) small gathering and then it began to spread. First to the Judean countryside, and then to further reaches of the Roman Empire. The first Christians met in homes — there was no such thing as a church building (synagogues yes, churches no). As Christianity spread it was perceived to be dangerous to the Empire and persecutions began, and Christians went underground until Constantine declared Christianity to be the State Religion.
From the Roman Empire it eventually spread across the entire world over the centuries until today there are millions of Christians. Millions.
But Christianity today is in trouble. Persecutions in various parts of the world exist today and they’re becoming more visible. Even countries like the US are experiencing a “falling away” from the faith and there are incursions against Christians by our own government — they’re still small and somewhat minor incursions but they’re there.
So . . . are we entering a period of increasing persecutions (as in Rome of long ago)? Will churches be permanently closed and turned into apartments (or brew pubs or whatever)? Will Christians begin to meet surreptitiously again in their homes as they decrease in numbers? Will there finally be nearly no Christians left except a final, large gathering in Jerusalem?
Like all humans I experience time (and therefore history) in a linear way. But it wouldn’t surprise me if God takes that history and constructs a huge circle that takes millennia to complete, so that it ends as it began. I wonder . . . .
HOW? Is it possible to be “right” when you don’t start from RIGHT?

No one, of course, ‘owns’ the kids. Traditionally, though, parents have been entrusted (maybe I mean tasked) with guiding kids to become competent adults who will be valued, welcome members of society. I think that’s true everywhere on earth. Government provides assistance, i.e., schools; but even those are really provided by parents. Government is just too far from the daily life of families to have much valuable input.
Government IS NEVER too far away from the daily lives of families and is making more and more of an effort to wedge itself in between them every day. Why were the churches closed but the liquor stores were always allowed open? What do you think the lockdowns and mandates were all about? Family health and cohesiveness? Peace and tranquility?
Disney is seeking to sexualize young children. A groomer sits in the WH. Do you believe that the government which cheated to get that result is an accident? Destroy the family, pervert the children and listen, because that’s what the head demons at Disney say they want to do. Disney is the devil’s workshop. Boycott Disney. Shun the devil. Why should he care about children? He never had any children of his own…Thank God.

I’ve seen reports that childless adults, or adults without their children are a big percentage of their visitors. Maybe they should simply stop abusing and corrupting children and change their brand to adults only. I’m sure Disney World of Deviancy would draw huge attendance.
I don’t know anything about Disney World in Orlando but I used to go to the Disneyland Park in Anaheim weekly. Often just my sister and my Dad and I. He was in a wheelchair and we were in our 40’s or so. Dad loved it there.
There were people there from all over the world, I’d go just for the “people watching”.
If I wanted to see gay men swapping spit I could always go to Universal Studios. Which is why I hardly ever went there.
Disneyland was a place you could go to avoid all that. Sadly it doesn’t seem like that’s the case anymore.

The first time I went to Disneyland was in the early 70’s as a young teenager. It was amazing though in hindsight the tech back then was nothing compared to today.
I lived in CA for over 15 years later in my life. I and my family all had season passes. It was a place we could all go and have fun that was also safe from gangbangers and other menaces. I know the Disneyland park(s) in Anaheim like the back of my hand. In all my years of going there I do not recall a single incident of anyone being disorderly or obviously high, not once did I smell cannabis burning. It was a good, fun, safe place to take kids and it was always a blast for us adults too.
So naturally Evil covets what good has. Evil wants to destroy Good and take its place. It’s not at all surprising that Evil would target Disney.
What I find dismaying is that Disney allowed itself to be successfully attacked by Evil. Disney needs to learn a lesson and suffer severely for doing that. It’s a serious betrayal and needs to be dealt with accordingly.
This has been going on since at least 1991. People have not been paying attention.

So sad to see what has happened to Walt’s company. I lost faith when they moved to Florida and no sane adult would pay $5,000 to take their kid to see Mickey.
I sat in Walt’s lap as a kid during the filming of an episode of the Mouseketeers Club. Those days are gone.
