The one potential bit of good news regarding the Wisconsin recount was the 8 Million dollar figure was for the whole state and reports this week were that the Trump Campaign paid 3 million for the two counties where they requested the recounts (to the tune of Racism! because there are a lot of black voters in Milwaukee county and ignoring all of the white voters there that voted for Biden). I do not remember if Jill Stein requested a count for the whole state or not.
Secondly, with the “Covid precautions” and needing a lot more space to spread people out, renting a large building in Milwaukee was required, and that might have increased the costs. I wonder further if they added in hazard duty pay or costs of masks and sanitizing materials or something else.

I am hearing encouraging things from Trump’s attorney Powell and Lin Wood I believe down in Georgia. Sounds like Trump won by a landslide.They had to stop the counting on election night because Trump’s votes exceeded the Dominion algorithems of what they anticipated he would get so they had to scramble to come up with Biden votes. Will the courts rule in favor, there is so much corruption and state secretaries not doing their jobs.

The Problem with Recounts.
I have 100 single dollar bills and I suspect that 20 are counterfeit.
I can recount them all day and there still be 100 bills.
If there is no way to identify the counterfeit ones then the recount does no good.
So it is with many of the election recounts. Many(most?) are not trying to separate the invalid votes from the total count.
Just a thought.

The “never spilled over into the mainstream media” is the proof that we were wrong about the continuing power of the legacy media. We thought they were done. But there are still millions of people who get their news from NBC, ABC, CBS, or PBS every evening because they cut the cable years ago (or never had it in the first place) and watch Netflix and Disney, and they can still get the old commercial networks “over the air,” mostly in large metropolitan areas (which overwhelmingly vote Democrat). Cable news at its peak never equalled the old “OTA” networks in numbers of viewers, and I think I’m right in saying that the difference is by orders of magnitude.
I would beg to differ. The fact remains that despite the entirety legacy media raining on Trump 24/7, he still managed to receive what Sidney Powell believes to be 80,000,000 votes in this last election. I would say that the lack of the Biden story gaining traction has more to do with Big Tech outright suppressing the information via Google, twitter and YouTube as well as outright lying about the story on Wikipedia.
Yes, you’re right, they’re a part of it. And yes, the legacy media alone would probably have failed to take out Trump had they been acting entirely alone: they needed Big Tech as well as the fraudulent election systems. But the legacy media was still able to convince at least 60 million people to vote for Biden because Orange Man Bad. My point is that they are reaching more people, especially in cities, than we gave them credit for. We should stop underestimating the legacy media. We’re shooting ourselves in the foot if we continue to dismiss them as dying or irrelevant. They’re neither.
They’re dying. Just not irrelevant yet.

Forgetting the first part of the First Amendment isn’t a bug. It’s a feature. Why if those religious people (Not the “peaceful” Muslims, they are ok) went away so would most of our problems. ๐ Note that most Muslims at least in the US are peaceful.
Maybe if religious services were labeled live adult and children’s entertainment, they’d be permitted.
