Woke v. Awake: Delta CEO Slams Georgia Election Law | Pastor Ejects ‘Gestapo’ from Church

A pastor and an airline CEO perfectly illustrate the difference between ‘woke’ and awake.

Delta Airlines CEO Ed Bastian says the new Georgia election security law is “unacceptable and does not match with Delta’s values” — preening before the woke mob in hopes they don’t come for his airline next.

Meanwhile, Polish immigrant Pastor Artur Pawlowski of Calgary’s Street Church, in Canada, takes a stand against police and health officials (not his first time during the COVID-19 pandemic), and ejects them from his church calling them ‘Gestapo’, ‘Communists’ and ‘psychopaths’. [Video Below]

He tells officials not to come back without a warrant. The Calgary Police Service and Alberta Health Services and City of Calgary Bylaw Services said they were just there to monitor compliance with public health directives.

One of the worst aspects of this “Woke” culture is the infection of various corporate managements, causing them to make decisions based on politically correct dogmas rather the common sense. The recent decision by United Airlines to hire future pilots based on race or gender is a classic example of that phenomenon. Please read my blog post “A Very Bad Idea” by clicking on this link:

This “i’m not racist” stance has to die. Do you think that they care if you are racist or not? They just want power over you. They are perfectly fine with all of the anti-white racism and racists. Louis Farrakkan is never denied a seat on any Delta plane. Defend the white people of America and stop using your enemies’ twisted morality as a basis for an argument.

All of the men and women serving as police officials or in any position of state mandated authority need to be reminded of the Nuremberg Trials… the claim “I was just following orders” was then and is now no excuse for tyranny… eventually justice will be served…. they really need to be put on notice.

Agree 100% with the pastor and Bill. I am from Romania, I know exactly what he is talking about, and why he is so upset. I have been trying to tell people that the direction this country is going is not good, to no avail, for 30 years…

I don’t envy one bit the tough spot many officers find themselves in when ordered to respond or enforce some of these draconian measures. No doubt, there are some who enjoy the abuse of authority they have been permitted to exercise over people who just want to get on with their lives. But I think most are struggling to reconcile these clear government overreachings with their duty to serve & protect their communities.
That said, I’m curious to know how many of the same government officials who sent police out to shut down Easter & Passover services intend to do the same when Muslims soon gather for Ramadan.

Some of the most blood-soaked words repeated throughout human history have been, “I was only following orders.”

“Count me o’er earth’s chosen heroes,—they were souls that stood alone,
While the men they agonized for hurled the contumelious stone,
Stood serene, and down the future saw the golden beam incline
To the side of perfect justice, mastered by their faith divine,
By one man’s plain truth to manhood and to God’s supreme design…”

I don’t think it’s at all outta like to compare these cops w/ NAZIs. As Gina Carano pointed out, The day after Hitler was elected, the National Socialists didn’t start rounding up and shipping out Jews. It was a multi year pogrom of ratcheting up the authority of the state. I suspect there were many scenes like this (w/o the enraged preacher) in Berlin, Frankfurt, etc, back in 32.
Last I read, the cops did return to this man’s church. In force. And built a fence, a wall around the church to make sure nobody could enter the building.

Not that it is any less appalling, but that appears to be a different church. At least, the article I read with the photo of the fence and police was about a church in Edmonton called GraceLife Church whose pastor, James Coates, has spent time in jail for refusing to comply with Alberta’s dictates.

Interesting timing. I hope that the other church has several hidden cameras recording 24/7 so that they can livestream whatever happens next.

What I find amusing is it is stated he is a pastor when the writing on the door is obviously Hebrew and he spoke about Passover which is a Jewish observance. Was that so they couldn’t be called anti-semantic? He would be a Rabi then, right?

I have no idea about the political status of Canada, but it having been a British Crown Colony it’s probably as screwed up as the UK is right now.

The writing on the door is not Hebrew (looks more like Indian) and the sign said something Resurrection Church

We have friends in Canada, and while I am so proud of this minister for standing his ground, it is no longer safe for Christians there. I’m not familiar with the Alberta/Calgary area, but in Ontario there is no lower class than Christian. And I tell you I am worried for this minister and his congregation. I am grateful, in so many ways, that he stood his ground, but I expect there will be a price to pay [because there haven’t been Christians standing in some time]… I hope there is not, but I am expecting it.
May God protect that man and his congregation. And may he find grand success in his endeavor here, and may his tribe grow.

with due respect to you mam….that guy doesn’t seem to me to be the kind that scares easily. he deep sixed that karen like she was jello in a meat grinder.

Yes, he is brave, but if the govt. there gets loads of flack from it (and if it’s as bad as Carrie states, then there may be swift repercussions to make an example and squash any future standing up for rights.

I am not interested in the least in what Delta Air Lines or any other corporation thinks about voting laws, elections, race relations, police procedures or anything else. They should stick to their knitting, which in the case of Delta means getting passengers where they want to go, on time, safely and with their baggage and belongings intact. And they should treat all employees and customers with courtesy and respect. Those are the only values that matter to me.

Stand for freedom, stand for rule of law under the constitution, this is our only hope. If we don’t, we will become only sheep to be hearded into a pen of slavery. Many have already, and the gate is closing. Do not let these power hungry entitiies take our freedoms away.

I wonder how much effect an email campaign to Ed Bastian’s email would be if the emails were a list of things the voting law has that Delta should therefore not do. Like:

The voting law requires ID to vote. As this is against Delta’s values, I assume the next time I fly Delta, I don’t need to bring ID.

The voting law prohibits people handing out food and drink to those in line. As this is against Delta’s values, the next time I fly Delta, I believe I can bring my own water or whiskey bottle from home and not have to pay for the in-flight drinks.

And so on.

Seems to me to be a great time for the People of the State of Georgia to help Delta pay for Georgia’s new voting laws via an increased tax burden. If Delta doesn’t like Georgia, there’s no reason for Georgians to like Delta either.

When I fly, which used to be fairly often but I now avoid as much as possible, I would always buy my tickets for wherever I was going by using a ticket finder type website to get the cheapest tickets I could find. There are a bunch of those sites that will help you find and compare ticket prices.

If Delta’s tax burden in Georgia increases, Delta will have to charge more for their tickets … Which means they will no longer show up as the cheapest fare on those websites.

Sauce for Georgia is sauce for Delta.

Republican lawmakers hit back at Delta after CEO blasts Georgia voting law as undemocraticLast Updated: April 2, 2021 at 8:17 a.m. ET

Republicans in the Georgia House vote to strip Delta of a tax break worth tens of millions of dollars annually
Also, they should remove the same “exemptions” for Coke.
We’ll see if they have the nads to follow through.

Tax breaks, by their nature and purpose as regards enterprise, are meant to attract businesses and provide jobs to an area. Where then the income tax of the people working at those businesses, and other assorted fees, tariffs and taxes, offset the loss of revenue engendered in the tax break and result in a positive “win-win’ situation for both government and working people … All of which I’m certain you already know but this is for those who might not have all that clear.

The point being that if the tax breaks attract and reward businesses that are not beneficial to the population where they are located, then there is no longer any reason to grant those tax breaks.

This is something I’m certain business entities as a whole are very aware of yet some businesses tend to ignore this factor. To their own peril.

Thus the people of Georgia are fully and completely justified in rescinding any tax breaks given to companies like Delta and Coca-Cola. Said removal of favored status tax-wise being the fault of the business, not the people working at it or the people of the political entity wherein the business is located.

This is one way that Republican controlled governing bodies with taxation powers can and should strike back at Leftism. There is the problem of workers put out of a job in the process so it is crucial that it be made well known via all possible media outlets that those people have the Leftist leadership of their employment to blame. As in …

“Out of work because your company decided being “woke” was more important than your job? Unemployed because the virtue signalling of corporate leadership took priority over your family and future? Unhappy about that? Vote for a Republican and get a new job or vote “woke” and wait until your unemployment benefits expire.”

Nice post. That’s for such a clear reminder of tax ‘breaks’. I’m wondering if Alexandria Ocasio Cortez did all the math before working to keep Amazon out of her district. Hundreds, maybe thousands of jobs lost to her district.

Businesses that decide to get political deserve every ounce of punishment from either side of the aisle. Investors who invest in these companies deserve the financial losses they suffer.

I was overjoyed to see this! Would be great to see more videos of Americans doing the same. All over the world for that matter.
I think Bill is right about Health Dept. Karen. I’m sure the employees who work for the govt. must be allegiant.
Now, after many years of simply making sure the city was safe via food safety, housing standards, etc., she finally gets to be important and show how much power she has. She relishes in it.
Or perhaps this Karen (like so many others around the world) is too weak or scared to say “no” to unlawful “edicts” because they need their job.
Much like the jackboot cops who enforce “edicts” they know to be against laws and the rights of citizens.
They either like being bullies or they simply can’t stand the thought of looking for another job. I wonder how they sleep at night.

Yep, that’s my point. They put money over doing what’s right. They choose to harass and arrest law-abiding citizens under “edicts” they know are not lawful.

Bill, i just sent this to all nine members of my posse. How many glean knowledge from this is problematic of course but thanks for the video.

“Those who go to the Archipelago to administer it get there via the training schools of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Those who go there to be guards are conscripted via the military conscription centers.

And those who, like you and me dear reader go there to die, must get there solely and compulsorily via arrest.”

chapter 1/p3 the Gulag Archipelago ‘abridged’ Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn.

This ties in well with the segment on arrogance: a CEO who has an inflated opinion of himself and the Calgary Karen using the police to help her scold and intimidate on Easter Sunday. It is refreshing to see the pastor act as a shepherd and not a sheep.
