You Know Nothing: Ricky Gervais Tells Hollywood, Skip the Lecture

Ricky Gervais tells Hollywood celebrities to skip the political lecture: “you know nothing about the real world.” He then instructs them to “come up here, take your award, thank your agent and your God, then get the f*#@ off the stage.” And that was just the beginning of an epic take-down of these hypocrites at the 2020 Golden Globe awards.

Ricky Gervais was far braver saying what he did than when Robert De Niro got up and said “F*** Trump” at the 2018 Tony awards. There’s no comparison at all.

The Hollywood Gaggle PRETENDS for a living. They mouth other people’s words, they follow direction from others on how to say what has been written for them, they stand and move when told and they then believe that they have the knowledge and wisdom of Socrates. By definition, they are FRAUDS and HYPOCRITES. They are 6 degrees plus 1000 1000 removed from being Role Models. The claim they are Compassionate, Caring and Sensitive people who are driven into their gated community, are chauffeur around without any effort and lecture everyone else just how wonderful they are.

Bill, that says it all: “He is not a hero, he is just an actor.”

Hamill pretended to be something he was not and got paid to do it. Then, when it came time to be counted for something of real substance, he exposed the empty reality under the facade.

I didn’t hear about Ricky Gervais’s speech until the day after when all the tongues were wagging. I was ROFLMAO listening to him skewer those self-important elitists. Celebrities seem to forget that their tradecraft of hypocrite sheds its skin when they step off the stage and pontificate their political views to the public. They forget that they strip off a layer of their gilded veneer and expose their true charlatanism. What they do on stage may in fact be the exact opposite of their inner being. For example, I had a great deal of respect for Robert De Niro until he opened his mouth against Trump.
