Having spent some time in China in the 80’s I was shocked about how much of their freedom they gladly gave up for government demands. They all did their best to cheat a little bit here and there, but for the most part, they did as they were told “for the good of the whole”. And they had a fair amount of luxuries allotted to the ruling class. For instance, there was no first class in their crowded airplanes, but when you got in, you noticed people in party uniforms sitting in rows that were spread out just a bit more than the other seats. One example among many.
Chinese gave up their liberty early and gladly, and it is just possible they have reached the breaking point, having tasted a bit of western freedom. Time will tell. But for now, I fear what might happen if they all mobilize under government mandates to attack others.
I think the globalists are starting to sense their new world order slipping away and acting out of desperation. In my opinion, if the left had this kind of power in the U.S., they’d be using it. As it is, we get nonsensical mask mandates.
Bear in mind, however, that we still need to make many Americans see the globalist fascism of our Washington establishment (led by Democrats and supporrted by RINO’s) which is behind our stolen election as well as the LGBT agenda in schools as part of their initiatives for equity, climate crisis and pandemics as their foot in the door to declare emergencies (gun violence, racism, health equity, etc.) in order to centralize power. In the U.S., the federal government can declare ANYTHING an emergency and self-extend every 90 days under Section 319 of the Public Health Service Act. The notices on public transportation cite it, which is what led me to it.

I have to tell you, though, I heard the same thing at Emory after the first Organic Chemistry test results came out and multiple students dreams of getting into medical school were torpedoed.
In regards to the many things happening currently in China, there is no better resource than two gentlemen – one American, one South African – who lived in China for many years and who both left because of the increasingly restrictive governmental situation. I would recommend these two gentlemens’ YouTube sites to anyone wanting to learn more about what’s happening in China. Check out Laowhy86 and Serpentza. They sometimes do joint videos, as they are friends who ran a business together in China and who created lots of video content within China before the government started cracking down on their content.

I read elsewhere, a study published by a medical doctor at a Texas university found that more seniors died from the side effects of Covid vaccines than died from Covid itself. That result held true across 68 different countries. Virtually none of the policies implemented to control Covid had any support from actual science.
I get so much blowback because I haven’t joined the experimental gene therapy experiment.
And their pets….simply beyond heartbreaking.
I have both clients and coworker in China and we ship product to China (I know we are rare that way) every month. This morning as I listened to this episode, I was on a Chat with a colleague (she was at home in the evening) trying to sort out logistics.
She knows that all of Shanghai is shut down, so the government is not keeping it quiet in other cities.
This lack of ability to keep information from flowing is what will ultimately doom the dictatorships. If China, who didn’t let information in, can’t control the information super highway, I am hopeful that we can also stop the control here. But we need to stand up now.
I wonder who did the translation of the drone and how accurate it is. I am very surprised that a government message would even refer to a soul. This goes against their atheistic policies.
Yes, translation is always a question, but some concepts are not considered the same way. If they still have the idea that they should behave in this life to honor their ancestors, whom they will join in the next life, then there has to be a concept of something that exists after the body is gone. Something has to pass on to that next life. That could be translated as “soul” and yet not mean the same thing to a Western reader.
I laughed a little when they mentioned the drone just after mentioning the fact that Americans have guns. It immediately placed a thought in my mind as to how fast that drone would have been shot down had it appeared over an American city.
Part of the problem in China is that, except for Hong Kong, which the got used to more freedom thanks to the Brits, is that they are used to being ruled from above. The Chinese emperors for example. As long as things weren’t too bad, and especially if things were getting better, they just went along because it was easier than Revolution. There is a Chinese curse that goes: “May you live in interesting times.” Revolution is ” interesting times”. Not being able to effectively fight is just part of the problem. Its mainly they are used to it, and if not too bad and its easier to go along to get along. That may change. But notice the last time there was a revolution, they went from one autocratic set of rulers to another. Hope they get more like the US or at least Taiwan. We shall see.
Sadly, I see Democrats here taking notes on Canada, Australia, and China as to what they might be able to get away with next. And Ukraine for what kind of response they can expect when The Radical Left tries to enforce them
