So I posted a video the other day from Blue Collar Logic. I subscribed to their YT channel and noticed that I get notified of a new video posting roughly within 6 hours of something going up. For BWNow, it can take several days before I get a notification. I went on to Bill’s channel, and sure enough there are two videos that Scott has posted for which I have not received notifications.
I then unsubscribed and re-subscribed to Bill’s channel. I will let you know if the timing improves. Just thought it was interesting that the channel I recently subscribed to gets timely notifications.

I receive YT notifications nearly instantly. That’s strange.
They rate limit people on the naughty list. Cody’s Lab (not a political channel at all but the net nannies don’t like him) has gotten reports of the same thing, some people get notifications immediately and some a day or so later. If you get a lot of views quickly you’re more likely to be “recommended” and possibly go viral.
I cannot recall getting a YT notification from Bill’s channel in less than 2 days.
That is why it surprised me that I got the one from Blue Collar Logic this morning and when I went to YT it showed that they had just posted it.
I have not seen a notification for the last 4 videos posted at YT by you.
If the next one you post comes quickly, it will be interesting. I suspect RG is right and they slow down the evil ones so they don’t trend.
Scott – I got my notification for the Taliaban gave me a toothbrush today (Sunday 6/30)
Strange.
That is actually typical. The cynical part of me suspects that you get the immediately because you post them. The rest of us get metered in some way. It would be interesting to hear from the membership but not a lot of notice on this post. Perhaps if you or Steve ask.
The ones from Blue Collar Logic to which I just subscribed came within an hour of the posting.
I just went to YT and it shows you posted a BWNow 15 minutes ago. Let’s see when I get that notice since I unsubscribed and then resubscribed.

Update of sorts.
The notifications I am getting for BW.COM postings when I click the link take me to the BW>COM page, not the YT. It seems I am getting these notifications from this website.
I am getting YT notifications on my gmail for the Blue Collar Logic that I recently subscribed. So I think my YT is still delayed. I am going to subscribe under my wife’s gmail and see if she gets them.
