I live with my wife in NYS in a little town about 3 hrs outside NYC. Thus we know first hand the dangers of leftist rule and of the oppression of progressive government. The city of NY out votes the rest of the state (which is mostly Republican) and so we effectively get no representation. The governor of NYS has stated openly that he wll give nothing to the rest of the state as they don't vote for him which essentially means my tax dollars go to support NYC and NYC only.
On the GOOD side, I have been a BW fan for a long time... How could I not be? We BOTH like vintage StarTrek, vintage Star Wars, we both love aviation (although unlike Bill, I am not a pilot), and we both love astronomy.
I finally decided to stop procrastinating, and became a member because I felt I'd been getting a 'free ride' (watching Bill, along with Scott and Steve, on YouTube) for much too long.
I also wanted to start adding my voice to the wave of others in promoting conservatism to others.
