Draconian Lockdown Powers: It’s a Slippery Slope from Handwashing to House Arrest

Nothing much on this post. Other than I just recently started getting back into podcasts, and came across Bill Whittle’s Apollo and Cold War series. Absolutely…love..them. Bravo

I started up the network podcasts just over a month ago, before this pesky virus became, well you know. I very much enjoy the presentations you all conduct, and am glad this network and fan blog exist. This group is pretty much within my political spectrum, and I appreciate listening to like minded folks, with and opportunity to also post my personal beliefs without being vilified on social media.

This is a very good article by a molecular biologist and mathematician saying we need to be more honest in pandemic modeling by extending how long they show the effects for. By hacking one of the models showing the difference between 2 weeks and 2 months of social isolation to extend the timeline much farther out they actually showed the 2 months of isolation actually led to 50% more deaths and infections. We need to have honest discussions about if these measures are really whats best and if the cure is worse then the disease but unfortunately that is not happening and its going to ruin everything if this conversation doesn’t start happening.

Gentlemen,

I have been watching and listening to your individual and combined content since the day I first clicked a link to “EjectEjectEject”, for a blog named “Tribes”. I knew then what I still know now. This man and I have matching experiences, shared values, and a consistent love for Liberty and the founding principles of this nation.

I was raised by a firefighter in the San Fernando Valley of the 1960s. I saw my first CPR training video at the age of 7. It isn’t hard, with this background, to become the person who runs toward the violence or noise, rather than away. The wolfhound analogy resonated so strongly with me, and I’ve been following Bill ever since.

Once he joined PJ, I became aware of Scott and Steve, and have enjoyed their content nearly as much ever since. I very closely align with Scott’s sense of morality, modesty, and values, while having the larger pop culture perspective of Steve, having been very close to the music industry in L.A. in the turbulent mid and late 1970s.

I am married to my best friend, just over 40 years together and coming up on 37 years married. I keep expecting the honeymoon to end any day now. We have two adult children of whom we could not be more proud, because they are Good people.

The thing that finally kicked me in the rear to become a member of this group was Bill’s Coronashpere Lounge response to NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio’s declaration of war against the Constitution, the Republic, and the Citizens of this nation, in threatening to “permanently” close churches who went against his directives.

When I first heard Hizzoner’s pronouncements, I was enraged. I had expected something like this from Gavin Newsom, and many pastors I know have settled with themselves that they are likely to end up in jail in the next five years because of the advance of anti-Christian tyranny, but I couldn’t believe that this started in New York.

I waited for the public reaction, and until Bill’s vlog, I’d seen only mild commentary. Folks like Cernovich didn’t respond, merely asked on Twitter “What do you think?”. Such cowardly reactions from folks who consider themselves “influencers” scares me.

Bill, thank you for taking the stand which every thinking American should have immediately. I had no other conscionable choice but to join and help you grow the voice and impact of your organization.

Because guys, the situation is dire. Yes, farmers are still planting. BUT THERE IS NO WAY WE CAN DISTRIBUTE FOOD EFFICIENTLY OTHER THAN THE FREE MARKET and we’re taking the mother of all hammers to the free market.

And trust me, trust me, please trust me on this: IF the wheels come off in the US the rest of the world is going to die screaming this winter.  And I don’t know if this bullshit of what amounts to five months in lock down hasn’t already done all the damage that guarantees that.

So…. What is going on, precisely?

At this point I feel like I’m living in 1984.  Is it really bad in NYC? Has to be, in spots, at least, because otherwise they’d fake bigger numbers, right? But then again, who the hell knows?
Here’s what I know: almost everyone I know in the medical profession is getting half-time work. Why? Well, because hospitals are empty having kicked out/postponed everything and everyone but the most dire cases. Most people I know in the medical profession is staring at empty hospitals and being told the onslaught is coming “soon.” And if you post about it on twitter — I read a thread where someone did, yesterday — you get screamed at that they hope you get intubated.
