States with low population density and Republican governors are looking good to me these days: North/South Dakota, Wyoming, Nebraska… I would put Idaho and Utah on that list but they’re filling up with Californians. Arizona and Texas may flip blue in the future; Texas sooner than Arizona.
The movement to disband police departments is picking up steam among Leftists; the Minneapolis city council voted in favor. Ilhan Omar, despiser of America and Israel, applauded the vote. If this becomes reality, (I doubt it will but nothing surprises me), you can rename that once polite city Little Somalia, because warlords will be patrolling their ‘hoods and instructing corrupt politicians how to vote. The wealthy neighborhoods will hire private security. And then equality under the law will vanish and minority communities will suffer.
Did you hear that woke celebrities are bailing out rioters from jail? These people make me sick with their security fences, and their grocery lists that they hand to their servants who shop at Whole Foods in Beverly Hills. They never have to be around working-class people who leap when Target has a sale on socks. To be fair, Beverly Hills saw looting too. I imagine some celebrities are new gun owners.
Prosecutors in St. Louis and N.Y. released rioters due to covid concerns. In St. Louis EVERY single rioter was released. I’m sure these prosecutors live in gated communities.
