Forget meteor strikes, Democrats will kill us all long before that happens

It is the greatest understatement of all time: we are poorly served by our employees in Congress.

Brian Lonergan, writing in American Greatness this morning, brings some some numbers to light on the desperate situation we find ourselves in vis-a-vis the so-called “Democratic Party”. Apparently, all but six in the House of Representatives (whom do they represent, I wonder) voted to allow foreign nationals to vote in US elections.

Think about the gravity of that.

Now comes the most radical and dangerous idea yet. In pushing its H.R. 1 “For the People Act of 2019” election “reform” bill, House Democrats opposed a Republican measure that condemned voting in U.S. elections by illegal immigrants. With the exception of six brave souls, the House Democrats voted in lockstep to kill the measure.

Allowing foreign citizens to put the weight of their votes on our scales of justice is essentially saying that we already have no country. We are to be ruled by global consent.

These actions, the rejection of the House GOP measure in particular, should be taken as a malicious insult both to native-born American citizens and legal immigrants alike. Why? Power-hungry, narcissistic politicians have concluded that you, the American voter, cannot be counted on to vote a particular way—their way. Their solution is to import endless waves of foreign nationals in defiance of our immigration laws.

The author doesn’t appear to see that this issue goes far beyond the “illegal immigrants” that we are currently being flooded with. The basic principle that our government is to be controlled by our citizens is being destroyed.

A possible reprieve for now, we hear that…

…happily, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has said H.R. 1 is dead on arrival in the Republican-controlled chamber.

The camel’s nose has slid into the tent, and now he is straining to rear up and throw the tent into the desert. The likes of Mitch McConnell will not tie him down for long. Enough of this process and American laws and jurisprudence will be a thing of the past.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day. Drink beer while it’s still legal.

IN CONGRESS, JULY 4, 1776 – “But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.” Woe the storm… it’s a-comin’.

I cannot comprehend how this can even be considered. It’s outlined in the Constitution. Only citizens can vote. Anything else goes against the founding blueprints of our government.

Which is why I take the position that we have already been conquered, and that the coming war won’t be a Civil War so much as a revolution to re-establish America.
