I found a time tunnel and it’s right here on this website. Like so many members, we’ve been with this guy named Bill for a few years, maybe over a decade. Yak, yak-yak, yak…YAK. This guy can talk! Many of the early Afterburners on the voldermort channel, prior to BillWhittleDotCom or Truth Revolt, or NRA TV, or Declaration Entertainment, some of those shows may be seared into our neurons. The Afterburner with Mike Schlitz is burned into mine. For years, I’d consume the content provided by this guy named Bill, learn some, laugh some, think some, then move on, waiting for the next one. As we all have.
But today, out of the blue, I recalled years ago Hot Mike’s friend Bill showing go-pro video of him (Bill, not Mike) flying above the clouds and mountains in his Rutan designed Long EZ. I really wanted to see that video again, as I saw it only once, and it was pretty fun to watch. I searched the site and then only thing I could come up with was that maybe he showed those clips on an early Strat0sphere Lounge. So I dipped into that trove and went DEEP to the 25th page of shows, and realized I had stumbled into a time portal. 2012 to be exact. I clicked on TSL #8, and started to hear a younger version of Hot Mike’s buddy Bill yakking away about flying gliders, 200′ off snow covered mountains, and his sight of a vertical mist waterfall.
I had a “field of dreams” moment in my head. I heard Terrence Mann (James Earl Jones) say “It will be as if they dipped themselves in magic waters…”
I didn’t find that Long EZ video in that show #8. But I re-learned and re-enjoyed what I had seen so many years ago. It didn’t take the stress or pain away from where the world is precisely right now. But it was fun. It was entertaining. And when it was over, and he finally stopped yakking….I was back in 2023.
We have a time portal here and all we have to do is click. Try it. You’ll Like It.*

Here’s a fun game, at least to me. If Bill could do another Live Speakeasy program as he did years ago, name the 4 person line-up.
I’ll go first. Of course, I may be the only one going……
Poor Liz, can you only imaging the fiscal lessons she’d receive and not believe? What a spankin!
That is very cool. Some of the After Hours vids are still behind the paywall and are also very good. Can’t believe I have been listening to these guys for over 10 years.
Kind of crazy, no? I also saw a episode of After Hours. Very cool Remember his One Hit Wonder ‘Speakeasy’? I can recall his joy in finding a venue. I really wanted to be in the audience, just couldn’t get away from work to drive from Central Cal to LA to do it. Saw the broadcast and it was fun, although the younger Bill tended to dominate the conversation….I recall shouting at my computer screen (how quaint) “shut up and let him answer your question!!!!! !!!!! !!!!! Erg!”
