Harrison Ford was the last great actor, but he showed what kind of an average guy he was by landing on a taxiway and then owning up to his error.
I think the genius of George Lucas was expressed in 2 words. “Episode IV.” By doing that in the opening titles it captured the public’s imagination into what came before and their attention to the script so they didn’t miss anything.
There is some indication that the Mandalorian, while not a movie, has made Pedro Pascal and Gina Carano into stars. Most people did not know who they were before hand. Gina in effect did a Han Solo, Harrison Ford did such a good job of Han Solo that it turned what was essentially just a background character into a main character. They had to write him into the the rest of the story.
Carano has done something similar. Though Dave and Jon never did casting for her character, they went and found her. Now Lucas/ Disney is begging her to come back but she’s playing hard to get. She is making the killer B’s beg. She can now ask any price. That price will be free speech!
Its a huge irony, woke is all about strong women and when they got one it scares the misandrists witless.
