When Twitter labelled a tweet by President Trump and linked to fact-checking sites, the president reacted by threatening to strongly regulate or shut down platforms that squelch free speech. Since then, he signed an executive order making such platforms liable to lawsuits the same as publishers when they exercise editorial decisions, rather than merely allow political ideas to roam free on their social media services.

Considering how much influence social media and Google have been shown to command during an election, I agree with Trump that the manipulation/censoring of his tweets could significantly affect his election campaign. The additional censoring of conservative speech/content by Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc.has a serious effect as well. If only one side of the story is allowed to be told, it could unfavorably impact Trump’s chances of being re-elected.
How are opinions on the phone, in person, or by mail different from FB and Twitter? Is it a matter of scale or just simply power?
Threatening them with being treated the same as other companies instead of getting special status.

Of course, mail-in ballots are invitations for voter fraud. I’ve heard from people that I know in Las Vegas, NV that thousands of unused ballots have been casually discarded as trash because they are are undeliverable for various reasons. While doing so may be difficult, it is conceivable that such ballots can be used for fraudulent purposes.
I live in Ohio. To mail in vote, you must ask for an absentee ballot. For years, I got an absentee ballot without asking for one. One year, I went in to vote on the day of the election and was told I had already voted. I had not. If this is not fraud, what is it? How did this happen? Unless the person voted like I would have, my vote was supressed. I was allowed to vote provisionally and they said they would look into it. I never heard anything about my vote. No fraud occurs in mail in? BS!!
When I hear something is “Fact Checked” by The Hill, The Washington Post, CNN or even Occupy Democrats or The New York Times it tells me it has not been fact checked. It has been spun to an agenda.

Interesting comment by Bill at the 18:52 point concerning Bill Gates, who suffers from a God-complex…a very dangerous person….
Just a quick trip through Section 230 covers certain areas which are covered under the decency aspect…
There was an episode some time ago on the subject of “which is Twitter/FB: a platform or a publisher”….this is right in line with that episode question and that is exactly what Trump is saying…that these social media platforms get exemptions as “platforms” but they behave as “publishers”….FB wants to disassociate themselves with Twitter…Zuck wants to be a platform…after his Congressional hearings and exposure directly to the ignorance of the Congressional members, he will take the private red pill….
Is this the episode, Ticiba?
