Today I was privileged to join in on a video chat with fellow members of the un-washed masses, Doug, Rod, Bill, and Scott. And while Scott was the moderator, the event was clearly more of a discussion group (with Scott steering us back on point from time to time). I must say it went very well.
For those who have never met Scott or Bill let me let you in on a little secret. They are both as warm and friendly as one might expect. They are the same two guys you have come to know from Right Angle, even more so, two of the three guys from Back Stage. “Steve Green I’m calling you out ya big chicken”! (Gene runs and hides)
I’m not saying that anyone can author and present intelligent commentary, but rarely are those attributes displayed in “real life”, on the fly. Today I got that in the form of Bill and Scott in stereo! Not to mention the extra bonus of meeting and conversing with fellow members Rod and Doug! Speaking for someone who has not left the house more than once in six weeks, today’s video chat was a welcome pleasure.
I highly recommend anyone having a chance to join in on our next get together do so. You will not be disappointed.
I would like to say in closing that I feel like I made new friends today. But that would be I lie. It felt like meeting long lost family again, for the first time.
Scott, if you are reading this, thanks for the privilege.

Climate activist also applied to register name of climate movement Fridays for Future
The climate activist Greta Thunberg has said she has applied to register her name and that of the Fridays For Future movement she founded in 2018, which has gone global and catapulted her to international fame.
The move would allow legal action against persons or companies trying to use her name which are not in line with her values or that of her movement, she said.
